Sixers fined for mis representing embidd injury . Namely that he has one and the 76rs were trying to hide it . His knees may be beyond help at this point , kinda curious if he actually plays before January.
The NBA fined the Philadelphia 76ers $100,000 for misrepresenting Joel Embiid’s absence.
Its investigation found a disconnect between the team's “injury management” listing and public comments about prioritizing Embiid’s health for the playoffs.
If a team violates any of the above rules, it is subject to a fine of $100,000 for the first violation, $250,000 for the second violation and $1.25 million for a third violation. A team will be fined $1 million more than its previous penalty for any violations beyond the third.
sixers should just tank the season at this point. i’ve never seen a team so top to bottom incompetent. couldn’t even break 100 vs the pistons in the modern nba.

And Tobias put up a double double on them in his return to Philly.
I know Luka is basically rusty from not playing pro ball since the finals, but man I wish he didn't have to play himself to shape. Also hope he whines less to the refs. Get good now, I hate losing

Blazers and OKC are both saying Fuck It, Three Or Death tonight - almost 50 between them so far at the half. Also - tied.

Lol at Gobert getting in his feelings because Christian Braun yammed on him too hard
I don't think it meant the game, but he should have been tossed for that.
Also, Braun being a viable starter for Denver is the one silver lining of the season so far. He's looked great in the couple games I've watched. Not super efficient, but he can do more than just the three-and-d role.
Some shitty columnist wrote something about Embiid's son + his dead brother and how "he wants to leave a legacy for them but won't show up for work"
So Embiid apparently got up in the guy's face and shoved him in the locker room after the game tonight
Which, deserved tbh, even though the league is 100% gonna fine Embiid for it; using a guy's kid + dead family member to talk shit will probably get you shoved, that's kinda how things work!
god damn the cavs had a crazy end to this game. bucks looked like they were gonna win this one and then the cavs went absolutely nuts

Bucks kind blew that game. Dame was spectacular until the final possession and they also got an absurd 21 points on 8 shots from some guy called AJ Green that I've never seen before.
That's back to back stellar Lillard games gone to waste.
Just In: Philadelphia 76ers All-Star Tyrese Maxey is expected to miss a couple of weeks because of a right hamstring injury, sources told ESPN. Full evaluation coming later Thursday but sides are bracing for Maxey’s absence. Sixers will take careful approach with the injury.
Joker leading the league in both assists and rebounds lol
I wonder if thats ever happened for a full season. Maybe that year when Chamberlain led the league in assists?
Hes lagging in points, only 4th there. Hes gotta step that up to first, the Perkins and the like will really have fun calling him an overrated star padder.

Like I'm not gonna say I expected his shot to look this off, but I'm also not really surprised at all

The Blazers chose poorly.
Wolves fucked up and traded the wrong guy!

nobody on the team can shoot or dribble or make a play.

It’s not really a “small sample” size thing- he’s not that far ahead of his usual pace
