And if you're like me, too chicken to dive into Dwarf Fortress, I'd suggest looking into a game I discovered recently called KeeperRL that is a mix of Dungeon Keeper and DF but at a simpler level.
Dunno why I'm reading the bay of pigs wiki but alien invasion narratives from outside the g20 perspective is on my mind.
Magical School Girl narrative in Mexico city after the demonio gato invasion also sitting pretty
Edit: i fully expect to turn on my phone one day and find netflix and steam celebrating 20 years of central and south American nerd shit that was poorly SEO.

@KoopahTroopah is a classhole of the highest order. full stop. also @Malakaius is of blame here too, but mostly Koops for not only showcasing this wonderful game, but then lobbing over this gift grenade while I sit at work for the next 5 hours dying to leave. Thank you

Damn I still haven’t progressed far enough in Bioshock 2 to make a complete judgement, but hacking and plasmids are a ton easier to use and more viable so far.

I remember the skepticism around Bioshock 2 before launch, when it was being co-developed by so many studios, and not the studio that did the original.
That game really seemed to confound those expectations, becoming very highly regarded; doubly so when the Minerva's Den DLC came out and has been hailed as one of the best DLCs ever for anything.
Yeah. Its a bit too dependent on the bioshock 1 story to just be at the level where I would say “just play this instead”, but it seems like a really solid followup that in gameplay surpasses the original.
One thing I am trying that I maybe should have tried in Bioshock 1 is turning off the quest arrow. It just encourages exploration not having an omniscient knowledge of where everything is. Even without that though I feel like Rapture feels more “realistic” as a city, just the underwater parts alone add a lot to the setting.
Also, I was doing my voice work and got a Steam message. Apparently, Steam was acting a bit wonky and @Siege had to message me directly that I should have a notification. Uh oh...
Holy shit! That's really amazing of you! I've been looking forward to playing RE4, but wanted to wait for that sweet $20 price range.
Thanks you so much!
Edit: Double holy shit!! It's almost 70GB?! I might have clear out some hard drive space. Been so used to these 150MB-400MB indie games that I've forgotten how much of a hog AAA titles can be.

That’s pretty true. I was looking through my list of installed games to uninstall some older ones to make space. I got rid of 4 games and cleared up…600MB. 🤣

Hey everyone. I had some trouble overnight so today's video is a little late. I finally got it reuploaded and processed this morning. We're checking out The Planet Crafter today. After being in early access for a good long time they finally hit 1.0 so I thought it would be a good time to give it a go.

Blah for some reason after doing fine for the first 3 or 4 hours Bioshock 2 remastered has decided to be temperamental and start crashing every 10 to 15 mins.
Weirdly Bioshock Remastered ran completely smooth with no issues.
May have to force it to run on dx9 and try to bypass the launcher. Still playing it even so because it is so damn good.
I guess worst case scenario I could pick it up for playstation.
I finally found the sort by sizing option. This is pretty funny. RE4 at 69GB (nice!), followed by Marvel Snap at 4.3, TTS at 2.7, Capcom Arcade at 2.1, and VS and 1. After that, everything is under 1 GB, with PvZ, Annalynn, and Peggle clocking in at a combined whopping 105MB!
I clearly have an aversion to big installed games. Without RE4, I'd be at 7.4GB for all of my current installed games. That's under 2 DVDs! Gets me wondering how much of these games are bloat and bad optimization or the lack of high rez graphics and massive worlds.

Between that and 4K assets being just outright chonky.
Spending developer and artist's time to compress and optimize install sizes will probably not get you extra sales, and if shareholders can see value today rather than two months later, it's never going to happen. There's just no (monetary) incentive to push for better resource usage.

The pax exhibits were interesting as well. The in universe narrative around rapture being a fascinating and morbid read.
It set out to fulfill a very specific power fantasy (playing as a big daddy) and it nailed it so incredibly hard.

Stop swapping PA names and Steam names ya' fools!
@Mugsley thanks for the heads up. Admittedly, I had to look up who Alphinaud is though.
But everyone knows I'm the originator of character voices for FF games! Stay in your AAA games lane!

Sorted by size, just to give @MNC Dover paroxysms. And I know this lot will be piffling compared to what some of you will have installed.

BG3 is slightly smaller on my Deck because I didn't install the non-game bonus stuff on there, like the soundtrack and whatnot.
