Hawkeye can absolutely OHKO a lot of heroes if he completely charges his shot. IIRC anyone with 250/275 hp. I forget which, but either way it is a sizeable chunk of the roster.

Luckily Hawkeye himself isn't too hard to kill either. If you get in his face I think most Heroes can bring him down without too much of an issue.

My entire team at full health doesn't always get instantly deleted out of nowhere. But when they do it's always fucking Wanda. Also I think I've hit a higher MMR or something because now every game has her and Moon Knight on each team 95% of the time and it's infuriating . I
How it got last play testing doing enougg damage to kill a tank at full health WITH bonus health up is behind me.

Edit: and yeah played against a Hawkeye earlier who upon watching replays I'm 99% certain was using a kbam adapter on console. The second any strategist came into his view bam insta kill headshot. Was quite frustrating

I finally got to attack on an escort map and it feels much harder to attack than defend in this game compared to OW. You have much more time to stall in the middle of the map. It's something where respawn times should change or they really increase the payload speed in the first two parts of the map. We would wipe them out 4 at a time but they just kept getting back to the payload so quickly in the japanese spider-man map it was like what's the point, they weren't even using Dr. Loser.

Yeah, on Xbox it's left trigger to spit out allies and right for enemies

It's a very cool ability because you can swoop in and save your friends if your use it smartly

Oh jeez. Luna has to precisely aim to hit allies and heal them. Dagger just aims anywhere in their general direction to hit both allies and enemies because she has homing knives. That's so unfair.

Also, I want to reiterate how bullshit Hawkeye's arrows are because if you get up in his face he can be wide off target and still chunk half your health in one shot. Feels like the hitbox on it is massive.

Apparently arrows in shooter games have the hitbox of a tree log, just like in OW.

I see Squirrel Girl is basically just Junkrat, which puts me in a quandry because I love Junk, but I do not like Squirrel Girl she is a 20 year forced meme no, I will not partake, if you use her they will hire Brian Bendis to put Bendispeak in everything and ruin the game, I am warning you to stop!

Thor is sort of my go-to tank, but I don't know where to find Thorforce indicators onscreen. I'm just using the bubble to build, then hitting X to activate and being normie Thor in the meantime.

Punisher is also so broken easy he's a worse 76. It's like I know you have to have baby's first CoD character but his ult lasts forever and he too much damage. At least make there be a sync where if he's in the same team as Wolverine they both lose 100hp or something.

Thorforce is the three hammer icons under your reticle.

I really wish other cooldowns/ammo showed up there, it's inconsistent. (e.g. Peni's spider mines would be nice to have a more visible stock for)

See that's confusing because I thought the hammers were how many times you could throw mjolnir, like how Spidey has the five web projectile limit in the same area.

Well, hammer toss costs 1 unit of thorforce. (Same for the leap). Thor's got great mobility with that leap though, since you can basically just do it nonstop - you'll recharge thorforce at about the same rate it cools down.

Peni has always been a thinly-disguised Evangelion reference since she was created, so I'm fine with just doubling down on it.

And yeah, the catch is that the skins are 15$ per, but they are very good looking, very League-esque approach, though without bullshit lockboxes. Only one that I think is bad is the Green Adam Warlock recolor, at least Classic Magneto makes him look younger.

Kinda just gave up on most of the seasonal missions, the team-up ones seem impossible to do without a set group.

Still mostly exploring characters against easy bots and looking at how it goes, did Magneto and found that "just put shields on Wanda and let her explode things" is a basic and effective strat.

I had a spider nest on the other side of a door to the objective... and the enemy team never stopped trying the same narrow door, so I just kept a giant mine pile on it. And they kept running in, getting webbed, and exploding. Over and over. Like, there's other doors... use them?

You know, it occurs to me that Peni might be the only ranged character who doesn't reload? (I mean, mech suit, so appropriate, but it's funny that you have to reload on people like Storm. What's there to reload?)

Jeff's ult is absurd and I predict a balance patch for that real soon, because holy shit if there's an edge nearby that's the whole game, and if there's not he's kind of useless

Also Peni Parker is so complicated and I don't understand how to use her at all, which is the story for a few different characters but Peni is definitely the most unique

I think the more people swallowed should lower the amount of time Jeff can hold them in. It's also fucking impossible to see where he's going to hit. Cause I'm using a movement ability as soon as I see it's been used on the floor, but I keep getting tagged anyway.

Groot is like a more spammy Mei, feels like you're able to slap shit down at such an alarming rate there's almost no downside to keeping some form of shield up at all times. A good Groot can stall on Push if you use the walls to divide up a team and pick off the little guys/supports

Thornlash shields just seem to get melted too fast and I never see bonus from the other wall other than it living longer. The walls I've found are mostly for cutting divers off or blocking ranged characters but he doesn't feel as tanky as others.

Given comparing to Venom who gets that big ass shield is unfair but still.

Groot and to a lesser extent Loki really make me wish there were some quick cast settings (for console at least) no when I'm slapping down a wall or clone I need it yesterday! Don't make me hit the ability, then select placement , then hit right trigger. My muscle memory is having a hell of a time adjusting to it too and I get killed a lot standing their like a dumbass with my placeable up hitting random buttons like a fish out of water forgetting it's primary attack to place it

Yeah, this was messing with me a lot of Loki. It's probably fine if you main those characters, but when you're switching between a bunch of characters it's weird that there are a few that don't work like everybody else.

Peni doesnt really have any competition at what she does. The other vanguards are either tanky bruisers trying to dive a backline or shield carriers covering theirs.

Peni picks her spot and laughs at anyone trying to make her move - basically nobody can 1v1 her once shes entrenched properly, but you can't ignore her because she still hurts.

Peni defintely works better on defense, but even on convoy escort the spider nest deploys real fast, so you can keep moving up the line.

For offense, I find it best to find a nice alcove to set up and lay down harrassment from. And then delete whatever poor fool tries to dislodge you.
