The people in here who like romcoms where the couple gets together before the comic's end might want to check out You and I are Polar Opposites, they get together in chapter 1 in that one.
I'd say it's pretty solid, though like a lot of romcoms I feel like the first several chapters are the strongest and then it kinda loses steam a bit, starts relying on plotlines that feel a bit more stock. Still, remains entertaining.
You can probably count comics that do that on one hand, so yeah, vastly untapped material.

Delicious in Dungeon episode 18 is so good
Shape shifters reading minds and the faulty memories within is a fun take (I don't play D&D so I don't know if that's standard). I loved everyone believing the more handsome Senshi was the real one and the whole guard dog/Marcille blowing up the shape shifter sequence had me in stitches.
I listened to both the sub and dub tracks and the noises both Laios VAs made when getting blasted away were fantastic in their own way.

I would bring up Blooming Love also, which is a currently running series that is a pretty fun low drama romantic comedy where the couple gets together within the first few chapters. And also they're both in college, which is a nice change from the standard high school setting.

Yep, and it's not content to rest on its laurels. Right from the jump, it establishes that it brings up new sources of dramatic tension.
How do you act in public? Ask her out for another date? What's being too forward, what's not being forward enough? How to meet her family? Let your friends in on it?
It's such rich material for storytelling that countless series avoid entirely.

The Macross Plus preorder is live, and it's gonna be a pretty penny:
Looking at my Kindle and other manga sources, I'm going to drop a list of all the romcom manga I can find where the main couple gets together and it doesn't immediately end within a volume.
I'll separate it into two lists, the less spoilery one where they get together within the first volume, and a slightly more spoilery one where they get together at some point later on.
By the First Volume:
100 Girlfriends
Beauty and the Beast Girl (only first volume was officially released in English)
Boarding School Juliet
Catch These Hands!
Cheerful Amnesia
Extremely Straightforward Boyfriend and Girlfriend (not officially licensed in English)
Fly Me to the Moon
Girlfriend, Girlfriend
The Invisible Man and His Soon-to-be Wife
Kase-san and...
Love After World Domination
Love's in Sight
Our Teachers are Dating
Rainbows after Storms (licensed, but first volume doesn't release until later this year)
Saotome Senshu, Hitakakusu (not officially licensed in English)
Sweat and Soap
Veil
Way of the Househusband
We're New at This
What I Love About You
Wotakoi
You and I Are Polar Opposites
Some Point Later and Doesn't Immediately End:
The Dangers in My Heart
Hitomi-chan is Shy with Strangers
Hokkaido Girls are Super Adorable
Kaguya-sama: Love is War
Kaiju Girl Caramelise
Komi Can't Communicate
My Monster Secret
Ogami-san Can't Keep It In
Shed that Skin, Ryugasaki-san (only the first two volumes officially released in English)
Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out
Yancha Gal no Anjou-san (not officially licensed in English)
I left off things where I couldn't remember when they got together, things that were way too horny, and isekai.

A couple more (neither officially licensed):
together very early:
How to Grill Our Love (mostly about food but romcom-adjacent, at least)
together later on and keeps going
The Story Between a Dumb Prefect and a High School Girl with an Inappropriate Skirt Length
Unfortunately Kase-san is very cute before they get together and then kind of crap afterwards. There's not much about their actual relationship, instead it's all like misunderstandings and jealousy and basically the same tropes that are tiring before they start going out.
A trap is for fish: when you've got the fish, you can forget the trap. A snare is for rabbits: when you've got the rabbit, you can forget the snare. Words are for meaning: when you've got the meaning, you can forget the words.
per studio khara, they're involved in managing and transferring out all the rights to the individuals and companies they deem appropriate
It's been a long time coming. At least it sounds like Anno ended up in charge of making sure IPs are assigned ownership to people who were important to them, wherever they might be in the industry now? I wonder if that's related to Trigger getting the rights for Panty and Stocking recently. Did Trigger get the rights for Gurren Lagann too?
One that sorta qualifies is Tsurezure Children, though it's different because as a real ensemble cast it has couples ranging from Already Dating to Starts Dating Quickly to Holy Shit I Will Burn This Place Down If They Don't Confess This Chapter

But it is cute when flowers grow on Yamada's head whenever she's happy.
Kase-san does have a bad jealousy streak that the author doesn't seem to want to address though. Hopefully things will be better now that...
it's fairly common in my experience, as a side effect of isekais being the new setting of choice for male wish fulfillment harem story light novel mills
Isekai walking is both disappointing and especially hilarious in that sense.
Base premise - MC is one of many people summoned, his ability isn't combat useful so they cut him loose and he just goes exploring (but his skill makes him not get tired while walking and he gets xp with every step). It avoids the harem thing - he meets two girls and one of them is interested in him while the other cheers her on. Madness! The whole thing has been mostly pretty low key and wholesome. We're up to chapter goddamn 70.
Anyway, the lead-up has spoilers, but most of you won't give a crap so you can laugh about it.
king has been having him tailed the whole time by a stealth assassin brainwashed child soldier thing, who through his exploits realizes he's useful now and are going to force him back to fight demons. He manages to undo the brainwashing and make it look like they both died fighting orcs, then sneak across a border.
So they get to a town and it's like "oh, you found this 12 year old and you're not blood related and we've got magic to detect that, I'm sorry you have to check her into an orphanage. And since you're 15, even though we treat you as an adult because you're an adventurer or whatever, you're not allowed to adopt her. Unless, of course, you form a special slavery contract. That's the normal thing we do when people want to take care of kids that aren't theirs."
Reminds me of that one isekai which was Daydreamer something something. In it the protagonist meets this other group of people who rally against slavery up to and including using force against slavers. And the story portrays this is as a bad thing. The protagonist also says while he disagrees with slavery it's not his place to to say anything when it's the law of the land because the economy depends on slavery.
Oh shit, it just occurred to me that El-Hazard and Escaflowne are isekai anime, aren't they? I loved those two shows back in the day. Of course, neither ventures into harem or slavery territory, so maybe that's a plus?

Isekai was a completely different thing before Familiar of Zero and SAO came out.
tbh I'd say it was a completely different thing before SAO came out. FoZ's anime release was like a decade earlier than SAO's, and the anime climate was much more different then. It wasn't until after SAO's surge of popularity that the isekai mills truly began
I've lost count of how many isekai manga, I've started reading and then they do the slavery shit and it's like "OK author go fuck yourself, not going to stick with this anymore." Would be nice if they just admitted they were going to write a fuck awful thing and just put that they are going to be shitty people that try to justify slavery in the synopsis. That way I can just not even bother picking it up in the first place and spend limited time on other things.
Honestly, the more disappointing thing is that it seems like quick cash grab bullshit has made actual non-isekai fantasy, that isn't shithead wish fulfillment, rather rare. I tend to only bother with most of the isekai that I read because it has the fantasy element and doesn't appear to have decided be shit.
Actually, the really repulsive thing with the wish fulfillment isekai crap, is that it managed to find a way to be shittier than most of the 80s and 90s harem will fulfillment stuff. At least that stuff didn't try to justify fucking slavery, so that it could further objectify women as the go to mainstream thing. Pretty sure their were some pretty dogshit ones that tried, but most at least have the girls interested in the MC of their own volition, usually for some pretty dumb fuck reasons. This also meant that sometimes you could find some that were at least decent or interesting and didn't instantly become shit at the rate that a bunch of isekai stuff does. There was the whole issue of some not getting the concept of consent or having disgusting amounts of fan service that completely undermined anything interesting that the story was trying to attempt.
Plus, it does feel like late stage capitalism is really fucking with anime. Seems like a ton of shitty wish fulfilment shit gets pushed hard by all the asshole CEOs calling the shots. Maybe I'm misremembering things and it's nostalgia, but it really does feel like we had more variety in stories and settings during the 90s, compared to now. Hell, you at least has some trashy anime that was interesting, I probably should pull out my Hyper Police DVDs, assuming they are still playable, and watch the series again because it actually did interesting shit in a interesting setting. Unless I missed something, I don't think that series and really tons of other old series are being streamed anywhere.
I know that not every anime coming at is pulling the whole "our demographic is loser, asshole, horny, male teens that don't understand the concept of consent or that idea that the opposite gender are individuals with rights and agency. Idiots that believe that the world is solely out to get them because they are special and misunderstood." It's just that is really feels like that is the lion's share of manga, light novels and anime and I seriously doubt that the people going all in on this are making a sound financial decision, seeing how much of it just goes under because the sales aren't good. Some of that is it's dog shit, but I suspect a fair chunk of it is that demo only has so much time and money and it's being thoroughly tapped. I mean, there are plenty of other demos they could tap more and it's not like all of those demos demand intellectually written and gripping content, a ton of them wouldn't mind having some good old popcorn series, where you read it for the entertainment value, even if the snobs deride as base. I'm sure there are plenty of women that would love more content that caters to what they want and that some of that would have appeal to male and non-binary audiences. Similar deal with LGBTQ+ content, some of the content would primary appeal to that demo, but at the same time, you'd get stuff that appeals to others as well. Hell, would love to see more content where the target demo is older men, who aren't really interested in being the chosen one, becoming a feudal lord, having a ton of lovers and having to save the world. The current life is stressful enough, work sucks, responsibility is stressful and social interactions can get really messy. They are tired and just want to chill, are content with one lover they can spend enough time with to have a truly meaningful relationship with and want to escape the rat race.

It won't make sense to 99% of us, but it's still pretty great (turn up the volume for the last 3 seconds).
Is it really that common? I have read a fair amount and didn't see much with the MC having slaves.

It depends lately the more grossly sexual it is the more likely slaves will be a huge part of it
