A friend of mine played this with one of his D&D groups a month ago, and one of the players drew their goblins. I uh... I don't think I can share the results.
In it, a goblin lives in a nice suburban neighborhood where it shits all over the place and eats pets and such.
Then, the main family of the story moves into the neighborhood. The family consists of a mom and her very young son, and an asshole husband and his douche bully son.
Anyway, the goblin ends up eating the douche bully son and the asshole husband, and the mom likes the goblin for this.
The goblin ends up moving into a shed in the backyard, and then its strongly implied that the mom and the goblin have sex and the mom gets pregnant.
The end.
In Goblin 2: Son of Goblin the goblin is animated Roger Rabbit style, but his son is just Adam Driver in slacks.
Gizmo from the hit movie Gremlins is the one that does not turn into a gremlin, so they would probably be the only member of the family to not go goblin mode.
In a world where goblins are often depicted as chaotic or malevolent, advocating for goblin civility is a noble cause. Understanding their culture, needs, and desires can pave the way for peaceful coexistence and mutual understanding between goblins and other inhabitants of the realm. After all, every being deserves respect and a chance to thrive in harmony.
The mistreatment of goblins is a longstanding issue that often stems from prejudice and misunderstanding. Instead of demonizing them, it's crucial to address the root causes of conflict and strive for mutual respect and equality. By promoting awareness and advocating for fair treatment, we can work towards a more inclusive society where all creatures, including goblins, are treated with dignity and compassion.
Achieving goblin peace requires a multifaceted approach:
1. **Education and Awareness**: Educate both goblins and other communities about each other's cultures, histories, and perspectives to foster empathy and understanding.
2. **Dialogue and Negotiation**: Facilitate open dialogue and negotiations to address grievances, resolve conflicts, and establish mutually beneficial agreements.
3. **Fair Treatment**: Ensure goblins receive fair treatment and equal rights under the law, combating discrimination and prejudice in all forms.
4. **Resource Allocation**: Address socioeconomic disparities and inequities that may contribute to tensions, ensuring goblins have access to resources and opportunities for prosperity.
5. **Cultural Exchange**: Promote cultural exchange programs to celebrate diversity and build bridges between goblin communities and other societies.
6. **Conflict Resolution**: Establish mechanisms for peaceful conflict resolution and mediation to prevent escalation and promote reconciliation.
7. **Leadership and Advocacy**: Encourage goblin leaders and advocates to voice their concerns and participate in decision-making processes at local, regional, and national levels.
By implementing these strategies with dedication and sincerity, we can pave the way for lasting peace and harmony between goblins and other inhabitants of the realm.

Also my least professional email address is ofbyd@live.co.uk so message me if the forum implodes or I leave in a bit. It’s ok if the internet sees this one, I already get every kind of spam possible on this one.

That game describes itself as a deck building pachinko rogue-like, which is akin unto Hell itself, but what I saw was pinball breakout, which is what they should lead with.

What is he a fucking cop?
Don't try to change the subject to distract from the fact you've exposed your sorely lacking knowledge of 40-year-old children's horror comedy movies.

I would describe the game as an easier and more light hearted slay the spire, with a fun pinball interface
Also the stinkin’ cutest little goblins I’ve ever seen, I love them so much
Are gremlins like a subgroup of goblins, or are they just completely their own thing?
Are they just goblins with fur?
Does gizmo from the hit movie Gremlins go "goblin mode" or not?
Please discuss
Gremlins are more closely related to Leprechauns and Brownies and other lesser fae creatures
- nonsense weaknesses to things found in abundance in the human lands
- attractive, beguiling traits no human can resist
- fickle switch between helpful and malicious behaviors
- obsessive passion for human things (technology in this case)
- interactions with humans lend themselves to teaching morality lessons to the survivors

Wait are you suggesting then that goblins aren't that exact same sort of lesser fairy? Because that's precisely how they appear in their own folkloric capacity.

Folklore goblins are fae or fae-adjacent, yes! But these have (in my experience) been largely supplanted in popular culture by Fantasy Goblins which are mostly just smaller Orcs. Halflings : Humans :: Goblins : Orcs

I think they've standardized into a fantasy species the same way that elves (or dwarves or gnomes (sort of (don't get me started on gnomes))) have from similar origins.
But I think there's also still a tremendous desire to have them in that position regardless of that standardization - fantasy goblins are regularly portrayed as mischievous troublemakers and they frequently have a weird obsession with technology (or their own kludged together version of it). They might not span the breadth of a traditional fairy folklore goblin or a Rossetti goblin or one of their Muppet incarnations, but the idea of the goblin is still one of a cunning trickster figure, even if that's grounded more through cultural norms or whatever instead of supernatural predilection.
Gremlins well, you dont just have them showing up outta nowhere. You gotta feed a mogwai after midnight(local time i presume. As creatures of chaos i imagine they follow daylight savings time)?

It's a wierd saying, so let's get a full description from ChatGPT
Be the change you wanna see, buddy.
Procreate! You draw on different layers and then export it as a gif.

That's putting a lot of pressure on goblins
They can be hot, but the not-hot ones are also valid
