    Joffrey Baratheon. So delightfully punchable.

I have never experienced such a rapid and deep distaste for a character. He came on screen for the first time and did his little smirk and I absolutely hated his guts.

Guy did an amazing job at that role.

Dunno how much track House of the Dragon gets but Aegon II Targaryen is so far doing a good job of being a Joffrey-like, though one whose reasons for why he's like that are a bit clearer than Joff's.

He should also play Putin in
    a future ,"Death of Putin"
, when the time comes, because he would be excellent playing him when he was puppeteering "My name is Reek!" U.S. President 45 in the White House.

Of course the Coen bros. Will direct it. After all, it's in the Constitution!

Gods damn it. I checked the first page to see if anyone had made a Billie Eilish reference, nobody had, so I just assumed I was safe and didn't look at page 2.

Now I see the very first post on this page does. Sigh.

After watching the latest episode of The Boys, I'm willing to put Homelander up there with the greatest villains of all time. Anthony Starr is bringing incredible Worst Person You Know energy to the role, and I hope he gets an award for it eventually.

That scene alone should have cemented him firmly as an incredible villain. Willing to let an entire airplane full of people die to cover for his fuck-up? That's villain shit right there. Ain't no heroism to be found in that man.

Having put off watching The Boys for a long while now on principle (due to having read through the comics once during one of my "depressive dumpster dive" Sundays that occasionally happen), I finally watched it yesterday morning while folding laundry with pretty low expectations, and now I'm already up to season two

The thing that finally sold me was Homelander's rivalry with a baby. The man can bite bullets and fly and is worshiped by all, but fuck me if he didn't look at this newborn baby and you could tell this Godlike creature wanted it fucking dead and was two inches from making that happen himself, was forcing himself not to just murder this baby

And instead of it being what I expected from a Boys series, "Garth Ennis makes everything gross and awful and disgusting as possible and aren't you shocked and offended right now", it was five seconds without any dialogue that tells you more about the character than anything he's actually said up until this point, and its all done at a range that flips from Clark Kent to Patrick Bateman in like, half a second

Yeah I guess for villian status just refer to the first couple of seasons with him. Been a while since I watched it, so let's say S2-S4

Trump sucked, but he was way less effective of a villain than people made him out to be. Mostly he was just uncouth and not quiet about it. His villainy is indistinct from any run-of-the-mill shitfucker GOP flak that comes to power.
