Ending with a big line to sum up your film's themes, provide a last minute revelation or cliffhanger, or simply end on a punchline has been a thing for pretty much the entirety of film.
Popular examples include 1933's
King Kong with "It wasn't the airplanes, it was beauty killed the beast" or 1959's
Some Like It Hot with "Nobody's perfect."
For my entry, I'm going to go with 1987's
The Lost Boys:
Grandpa silently walks to the fridge, gets out a beer and takes a big sip before saying "One thing about living in Santa Carla I never could stomach...all the damn vampires."
So let's share other good ones. TV shows can be included. If the line is a spoiler then put it behind tags...oops, except that Kong spoiler I have up there. Well, in that case...
Posts
"You're Tyler DurDONE" BLAMMO
and then the Pixies kicks in.
You might have seen a different cut of Fight Club than I did. Though "You met me at a very strange time in my life" is a good final line.
Oh, speaking of: "Five card stud, nothing wild... and the sky's the limit."
Even for people like us.
As for Delenn, every morning for as long as she lived Delenn got up before dawn and watched the sun come up."
"You never count your money when you're sitting at the table...
There'll be time enough for counting when the dealing's DurDONE"

But my true pick?
"It’s such a good feeling to know we’re lifelong friends."
"Now, bring me that horizon" is another unexpectedly good final line
and the gengars who are guiding me" -- W.S. Merwin
I assume both show and comic both ended there because what can you do after that ?
I've decided that he's joking, and is
Steam: Chagrin LoL: Bonhomie
edit: it's my favorite movie too!
I mean, the whole thing is that he is being blackmailed over it. So it would 100% track for him to have a beard and to loudly declare he's gonna fuck her to dispel any of those notions.
Casablanca is one of those movies that impossibly lives up to its own hype.
'You okay, Jim? How do you feel?'
'Young. I feel young.'"
