I've played Shadowrun for three decades of my life. The vast majority of dice I've rolled in my lifetime are D6s, if only because you roll buckets of D6s for every roll in Shadowrun.

I saw a dice set last night that I almost impulse ordered - a metal set made to look like bullets and stored in a revolver that can spin.

Do you prefer a weapon with 2d6 damage that only crits on 20, or a 1d10 weapon that crits between 18 and 20?

I don't think it was Utah sucking, though Utah does suck. Everything I've seen suggests was a lack of infrastructure and overcrowding at the festival's peak, making it unpleasant and unnecessarily expensive to attend. The problems had been growing for years.

1st) there should have been an option labeled PORK.

2nd) I am so stressed out chat. We have an adult teenager(19) staying with us. But my one dog also just had surgery and I am just CONSTANTLY stressing out when me and partner aren't home and they are. Like right now. Which is totally not the kids fault! But I stress out enough about my dogs normally.

This is killing meeeee. Ugh I hate feeling this way.

Also my house has 1 bathroom we are not built to take on guests like this haha.

    How do I make it better(I don't, I know... I know)

1d10 with the critical range because it is obviously a katana and everyone knows that a katana is folded 10,000 times for the perfect bladeru

Shadowrun math has always been wild, like lots of net success systems from the same era. Very weird and kind of stupid probability curves and incentives.

I mean, the solution to all problems in Shadowrun is to Throw More Dice at the problem, just like the solution in DnD is to Stack More Modifiers. At least 5th ed changed it up with Advantage and re-roll mechanics along with modifier boundaries.

I think my aversion to using additional items on top of dice stems from trauma received when trying to figure out how to run a WFRP 3E game and realizing it had too many fiddly bits for my table

I've never used any cards for any PbtA system. Free League's system for Forbidden Lands uses cards to track iniative. Are you sure you were reading about PbtA?

WHFRP is all about dem tables
the D1000 table for mutations is a personal favourite.

Also, the tables are never where you'd think, but that's just to stop you getting complacent and then falling prey to chaos.

    PbtA doesn't even use initiative.

Unless the new revision changed that - I have the second edition Apocalypse World from a few years ago. I think they've put out a sort of "2.5" since then that I'm unfamiliar with, though.
