Guitar Hero is fucking up my 360

I just got GH2 and I'm loving it but I'm having big problems with it freezing my 360. Sometimes I can play it for as long as an hour with no problems but then it will freeze. After I reboot It will freeze in much shorter time until it gets so bad it freezes at the 360 bootup screen.

Is this a wide spread issue? My 360 has freezed a few times in the past but probably only like 5 or 6 times sense I've owned it.

What the Fuck is up with this? should I be calling activision to get a new Game or what?

    Get to know this thread, for in as little as a few days you'll probably be posting in it.

    This is one of those early warning signs. It could be something else, but I doubt it.

    Yeah, it's probably more the 360 than the game. Just sad coincidence on GH2's part. Same thing happened to me and my Crackdown demo. Then it froze on dvds. Then in R6Vegas. Then the red rings.

    :( damnit, well Guess I'll be getting my third 360 in a week or so... Good thing I bought that best buy extended warrenty. Maybe I'll get them to give me an elite for another 75 bucks.

    Why the hell did microsoft make these things so shittyly. I really fucking wish the .65 nm chips where out because I'm sure I'll have to get another one in a year.

    Well I switched it on and off like 10 times watching it freeze each time and I got it to red ring. I figure I want to return it tomorrow sense it's the weekend and I'll have time to do it. Hopefully best buy will let me get the Elite.
