The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
A few weeks ago, I moved into a new house. It was kinda old, the previous owner said he was going back to whatever country he came from and didn't need it anymore. A couple days ago, I invited a friend over to check out my new den. I was still unpacking a bunch of stuff when she called to me from the backyard. Apparently, there was this small opening on the side of the house outside that led into a basement! Now, the real estate guy didn't tell me anything about a basement, so I was just really annoyed at first. But Jess said, "Why not take a look at whats inside?" Well, why the hell not? I pulled the door open and climbed down into what I can only describe as the most bizzare place I've ever been.
The basement was like a room. A really old, musty room like it was from the 1800s or something. There was a carpet, some old, dusty tables, chairs, and along the walls were these candles that lit up the place... but only slightly. Jess came down with me. Even with the dim light, it was still dark, so I grabbed one of the candles from the wall and slowly walked around. At one corner of the room, there was this big fancy chair, you know, like the one Mr. Burns always sits on in the Simpsons? Well, instead of Mr. Burns, there was this box (pic related). It was sitting there, and it had this small lock on it. There was something about that box... something... I can't quite get the words to describe it... but as I stood there, looking at it, it just seemed... so... unsettling. It was that lock. Could it be? I pulled off my necklace that had my luck charm, a small key I found when I was a boy playing in the woods. Could it be? The air grew colder... Jess was standing beside me, "Whats wrong?" She said. My hands were shaking. I looked at the lock on the box. I looked at my key. They sure looked like they matched! I gave Jess the candle. "Jack," She said, "What if something bad hap
