I had an Aquanots under water base; it came with an octopus. I also had Islanders, which had cool spears. But my favourite was the UFO one, and this ship that came with little lights in it.
If I ever have kids, that's going to be one of the first things I buy them.

The plural is LEGO.
Duh.
Hey man.
At least I did not say Bionicle.
How were those?
My biggest problem with lego the last few years has been it seems like its like two or three giant pieces and then you're done.
I remember as a kid spending hours putting brick after brick together to make an attack sub shaped like a shark.
3DS: 5241-1953-7031
and they were attacked by alien fishflys and spiders often
good times
Anything after Roboforce I think was ass.
The best though was when they went nuts and had Space Police, Blacktron, Ice Planet, and Spyrius lines.
I made a d10 system to measure stats and stuff on guns and fought epic battles across my room when I was a kid.
Really? I thought they'd be kinda meh since they were tied in to a commercial liscense, but I'm glad to hear that they were alright after all.
What?

Ihad Space Police and Blacktron. Don't think I had any of those others.
I had a weird alien ufo too.
3DS: 5241-1953-7031
also this was inevitable
I'm talking more their concept lines. The creator line is a whole different kettle of fish man.
I mean they've got one that lets you build a giant fucking dragon.
WTF.
I'm saying for like their concept lines they were giving you a few shaped bricks and voila you had yourself a ship or a mecha or something.
If I ever have kids, that's going to be one of the first things I buy them.
I liked Ice Planet, though they were always hard to show horn in.
I believe they had 2d6 damage chainsaw swords though.
Their Millenium Falcon model is supposed to have over 4K pieces to it! D :
Shit does anyone remember the time travelling one
show horn?
You mean shoehorn, right?

that's like, my childhood right there. it almost brings tears to my eyes.
Other than certain Star Wars models, I was never terribly impressed with the commercial tie in models.
Edit: but then again, Harry Potter.

well, the rotors would spin if you span them manually, and elevators could move up and down
About to dig into this fucker.
that's the lego carrier.
