The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
Also, Resident Evil rules. Definitely one of my top five franchises of all time. I never got around to beating Code: Veronica, and now it's impossible to find on PS2.
Am I an evil person if I gave into my first instinct to shoot that dog trapped in a bear trap in the beginning of RE4 because I was kinda freaking out at that point?
Normally, if you jump down a ladder and try to look up Ashley's skirt, she will grab it and call you a pervert. However, there is a location where she does not do this. In Chapter 2-3, go to the lifts, after going down one of the paths. Climb onto one and go all the way down to the other side, shooting the Gonadas [sic] coming up on other lifts and the ones on the platforms. Once you get all the way down, go down the stairs nearby. Go to the cave that is here that has window-like holes. Be careful, as there are two dynamite wielding Gonadas at the entrance. Kill them then jump over the wall and go up the ladder. Kill the Gonada. Jump down, but leave Ashely up there. Try looking up her skirt with a sniper. She will not grab her skirt and call you a pervert because she is too high up. Note: There are more ladders where you can do this. Find one with a large drop and it should work. For example, if you have already gotten past Chapter 2-3, you can do this trick on the ladder you go down just after defeat Saddler in the final chapter.
After you defeat Ramon Salazar, walk further and there will be an intermission sequence where Ada will ask Leon if he needs a ride, and he accepts. When Ada brings him to the island, she will hook a rope onto the top of a cliff and say" I have some business to take care of". While she is saying that, look at her skirt (especially when she goes to jump up). You can also see more of Ashley than usual when you jump out the window of the church and when you get on the jet ski.
Sounds like someone spends so much time alone with himself, his right hand wishes that it came off.
Edit: When I was typing this, nobody else had made a 'right hand comes off joke'. Goddammit people!
I finally dove into Separate Ways in RE4 tonight. For whatever reason, I'm not enjoying it as much as the main game. Do you ever get to an area that you don't see as Leon?

that RE5 wiki: "Famitsu Xbox 360 has stated that the player's body temperature will play a large role.[12] Prolonged exposure to heat will make it harder to shoot, due to hallucinations and mirages."
pardon my language, but that sounds fucking lame

I hope to see Wesker in the 3rd movie. Super-powered Wesker, that is.

As long as the next installment doesn't involve wandering in the desert for hours on end I fail to see how that could even be a problem at all.
Sounds like the stamina meter in MGS3 only retarded. How do you lower your body temperature? Quick Chris, you need a cold shower STAT! Here douse yourself with this bottle of gatoraid. I've got a cooler full of popsicles at the next save room.

Really? I just got a copy at Bookman's for eight bucks.

Its been like fucking 90 degrees for the entire weekend and my room has no AC and I havent had 1 hallucination at all.
OK, so even though I bought and gave away the game for $5 new back when I didn't own a PS2, I just paid $15 for Resident Evil Outbreak (not mentioned in the OP; neither is the sequel). I only have a PS3 and no guncon adapter yet. Did I make a mistake?
I don't like RE that much, I guess I'm just no the type for scary games. Zombies can be fun on mini games and stuff though, it's just that the whole game freaks me out

Naw, I did it too. I even saw the "free" button, but I was all, "oh HELL no, that dog's gonna go all zombie on me!"
BAM!

bad things happen, no one knows why / the sun burns out and everyone dies

Also, the important parts of chapter 5 are new.
Also also, Ada's grenade-launching bowgun. Hott.

That sounds an awful lot like Krauser's weapon in Mercs (which he also uses against Leon)
It basically ensures that you never need to touch an incendiary or hand grenade ever again.
Oh and Code Veronica isn't a spin-off. It's a side story, but still a main game.

The N64 version is the better one?
I never noticed Barry had such a wicked neck-beard.

What?
PC perhaps?
PS version was the first most basic version with all regular special modes/items.
Dual shock had all that, plus a cool extreme battle mode.
PC, DC and GC versions all have the extreme battle mode and all other modes but have nicer higher resolution graphics.
So take your pick.

Outbreak games and Dead Aim are spin-offs and they weren't even mentioned.
Dreamcast and N64 are pretty much tied. I give the edge to N64 because it is a miracle in a cart.
