I recieved an email from NIS America regarding Disgaea and a 1 question survey:

It simply asks if you've own Disgaea and if you own a PSP, a DS, or Neither.

Since Disgaea, the DS, and the PSP are some of the most popular topics here in G&T, I thought you guys would like to vote in the survey.

    Also, man I need to play Disgaea more. I'm at a point where I need to grind to beat the next mission, and man it just takes too long. I need to learn how to do it more efficiently.

    There are some good games for the PSP, DA.

    Not enough for me to consider buying a PSP at the price it's at, but if someone were to say "Hey want my PSP? $50" I would say "Yes sir, thank you sir."

    I didn't check PSP either, though I've owned one. I haven't played it for about 18 months now, so I guess that's ok that I didn't check the box.

    I totally agree with that. I'm on the edge of wanting one now. I think I'm holding fast but Disgaea on DS would soothe the sting of FFT on the PSP....

    Honestly if it weren't all the talk about a redesign I'd probably have one by now.

    I voted DS, but in all honesty, I think Disgaea's better suited to PSP.

    man, why didnt i think of making this thread?

    yeah, this isnt exactly gonna be the sole deciding factor on what handheld we choose forever and ever, but we're trying to get a feel for our demographic and where our fans are at. Well...my bosses, anyway. since im a devout gamer, i already knew what the data would show before it started. and its pretty much exactly what you would expect so far.

    anyway, everyone vote DS. because we have a game idea floating around for the DS that we're considering funding, and its pretty sweet, and i need numbers to help support my wild ramblings.

    18 months man ? really ? damn. Killzone? not even a little ? maybe some locoroco? no ? cave story is now out...I hear that is popular on these boards. seriously though, I have em both, the psp really doesn't get as much love as my ds does but it does have some decent games out now. That price drop was lame and considering you need a hefty memory stick to do some real media slinging it isn't really all that appetizing, I get it. But the psp is shiny. The screen sirs, she is bright. Mp3's and video ? the ds does that but can you play ace combat on your ds ? Back to the topic at hand, Disgaea would look great on the psp but would play nicely on the ds.

    exactly. i was hoping that i could use that and tell my boss 'theres no way these guys are gonna publish here. go to em, see how much they want for the license, make it happen'. but before i could get far, he cut me off at the pass. he's clearly not sold on it the way i am. hell, i wanna do it for the controversy alone.

    Houk, I demand you keep trying to pass Shinpan. I also want it to come out just to see how people react to it. There's not even any nudity or anything. DoA and Soul Calibur have outfits that show more skin. I guess people just get creeped out by the whole touching girls thing, even though I'm pretty sure you'll actually lose if you start touching the wrong areas. And besides it's not all little girls.

    depending on when we finalize our schedule for next year, if we still have some slots open im gonna keep it in mind. i wanna let some time pass to see if snk or anyone else brings it over. if not, maybe my boss will be more willing to go after it. one of our guys is going to japan next week so im gonna ask him to pick me up a copy and see if its actually worthwhile as a game.

    As much as the grind-happy nature of Disgaea burned me out, it would definitely be better suited to a portable system.

    Atlus already gets a lot of GBA support and a bit of DS. NIS has been putting a ton of games on PSP.
