Anyone know how to install the language pack with Vista if you don't have Ultimate Edition? It won't let me change the "languages supported" tab unless I'm using Ultimate.
Edit: Kupi, it looks like your fonts are too big and the updater window's overwriting bits of itself because of it.
My question was less "how do I fix the display problem?" and more "what is it trying to tell me?" There's no indication of how long I'm supposed to let this file system download, and I let it run for quite a while.
Kupi on
My favorite musical instrument is the air-raid siren.

At least on my system, the updater is done when the top line reads "Update has been completed", and the 'run game' button is lit blue. Although this is on vista, so it might look different on xp...but the text should be the same.
There doesn't seem to be much to do in terms of guild activities, I do hope they implement some sort of guild battle system where we could take on other guilds. That would be quite spiff. Well at least we have those eight party raids (which should be available in final release) that we can do.
Le bump. Update patch for Lunia open beta (my client is currently downloading it). Run game button fix for all it says, so hopefully for those who couldn't get it to work initially should hopefully be able to run it now which hopefully translates into more PA members hopping on this excellent action RPG so the guild can be a bit more active.

I actually haven't played much past level 22; it was a blast up until then, but the time / fun ratio (read: getting skill points) shot up like a motherfucker after about level 18-20ish. I'll probably be checking in from time to time, but as it stands now there needs to be some tweaking done to the xp tables.
Which is too bad, because it is one of the more enjoyable battle systems out there...but sadly my time is limited, especially with all the titles coming out
Wow... I started reading this thread and saw the post dates from the beginning of the month. I noted everyone saying how cool this game was, but I was sure that I had missed the boat.
I get to the end of the thread and people are still playing the Open Beta? Am I assuming this correctly, or does one have to purchase it to play now?
If there is a beta or some sort've free play, I think I'd like to give this one a try. I haven't had much luck with Korean MMOs up to this point, but an actual action-fighter might be a breath of fresh air!

It's still in open beta. There's been only 2 minor patches since the start of this thread.
Awesomeness. I'll check it out when I get home from work tonight then! Is the guild still called 'Limes'? I don't know if I'll get that far into the game to go looking for it, but I figure I might as well be informed in case.
Every other Korean MMO I've tried has been given up on after less than an hour, so... I'm not holding my breath. Still, the prospect of this is too good not to at least give it a go.
I don't know if there's a friends list or whatever... or even how to find people on this game yet, but I made a character at least. I decided to try a mage and named him Wretched. Look me up if any of you know how.
Well, after having tried the game a bit, I do kinda like it- definately some fun to be had! However, I don't think I'll be having too much fun in the world of Lunia myself.
Every time I'm playing and I get to the big Orc battle in Ramancha village (the 2nd mission), my PC blue screens with an audio error (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL in RtkHDAud.sys) I tried updating my audio drivers but that has not resolved the issue. Considering it happens in the same place every time I tend to lean towards the game being at fault, but this is the first time I've ever had blue screens from an audio driver. Very strange.
Anyone else have this problem, or have any insights?
Edit:
I have a Realtek HD audio card (it's onboard the MB) and discovered there are two sets of audio-out inputs on the card. I moved my speakers from what I presume is the 'legacy' audio port to the HD port, and tried the game again. This time I was able to get through the mission that would error out in the same place every time previously.
I'm not sure if it was a fluke yet, as I've not had time to try any further missions to see if problems crop up again.

I'm thinking there are some security issues that they're going to have to work out.
Last night I somehow managed to log into someone else's character, even though I entered my own login.
Instead of getting the character selection screen upon logging in, it took me straight into the game on someone's level 21 healer. I could move her around, talk to NPC's, look in the inventory and everything.
I had the same thing happen! Well, sort've. I was playing and after one of the blue screens I was dealing with, I logged back in and found that, in addition to my own (level 2) Mage, I had a new character in the list, a level 12 mage. I thought it odd, but didn't pay much attention and logged into my own character. After that, however, I kept getting disconnected every time I tried to connect to a square, so I gave up, figuring they were having some issues.
That whole getting other people's characters kicked in after the big update to fix the run button problem, I only encountered it the first day after the patch but it hasn't happened since.
And gosh legend 2-2 is hard, I think I'll have to do some grinding for it.
I'm just hoping there will be a big update soon with some new history stages.
I wouldn't know, i haven't seen anyone from PA online, ever. :P
You were never around when I was playing a lot, and then Persona 3 and Rune Factory came out...
I'm taking a bit of a break until they either let me have a thief, or I finish up a bunch of games I need to beat.
I really should stay away from these games, though. I enjoy acting like a dumbass in heavily populated areas way too much. But it's kind of upsetting. You have no idea how much effort it takes to get someone to dance like a chicken.

What the hell is up with the language filter? It blocks "hello" and changes it to "****o" Stupid Koreans.
It's the patented Phantasy Star Online filter. That and lack of wordwrap are musts for this type of game.
chatting in this game is difficult enough as it is already. This just makes it more retarded.
I started a healer yesterday, called Aldi, and people are so much nicer to me than on my mage. :P Maybe they think I am a chick, or maybe they figure that being nice=less getting killed.
Party list seems to be fixed, though I wonder if they solved that horrible bug where you lose all your equipment and skill points. I hear it's happening a lot, luckily it hasn't struck me.
Unlucky day yesterday in the game, hit 36 so I could equip my 4D pants, broke all three pairs (one Cobalt unique and two rares) trying to get from +4 to +5. Horrible.

Yeah. I managed to track down a few people, but I tend to play at weird hours of the night, so I might not see a lot of people.
Limes.
You can currently talk to dnky, ninetynine, or Kirovante if I'm not around.

Does anyone actually bother following the story?
I tried to, but I quickly realized that other players were likely just hitting ESC at the cutscenes and leaving me behind, so I followed suit.
