Help with my Wacom Graphic Tablet

My graphic tablet has a slight delay on it when I use it in Photoshop. Its barely noticable until I try to do precise work like trace over an existing image, thennit can leave a slightly wobbley line. Is this normal? am I expecting it to be more precise than it actually is? can I fix it? I cant remember what model it is cos I'm at work at the mo, but its an A5 size, was'nt very expensive. Help.

    Could it be that your machine has trouble running photoshop?
    Latest drivers?

    My PC is up to the task I think, never struggles with anything else.
