"Windows cannot find D:\setup.exe"

So, something weird.

EA recently released C&C'95 for free, so I burned a couple of copies for him to play, except I absolutely cannot get them to install.

What happens is Windows will immediately (doesn't even seem to load up anything) say "Windows cannot find D:\setup.exe. Use search to look for this file".

Every single other file works on these CDs just fine. The autorun, the documentation.. just not INSTALL and SETUP.

I've tried it with two different burns of discs, both of which work in my computer without a problem.

Heck, even if I try to copy these files to the C drive and then run them, it still says Windows cannot find them. But it has no problem reading them and showing their icon and other information. Keep in mind the copy works perfectly fine, the computer doesn't shit itself until I actually try to run them.

tl;dr Windows claims to not find a file that is obviously there.

note: both of those files must be run in Windows 95 mode, but even if I turn off the compatibility mode, it still gives the same error, not the DLL error that you're supposed to get.
