How the hell do I stop this?

Ok so one time I went to a friend's house and they didn't have wireless internet so I tried plugging their ethernet cord into my laptop, running Vista. It then tried to create a broadband connection. Well when I went back home it now continually tries to connect to that broadband connection and I can't get it to stop.

I get this:

like every 20 seconds and it's so fucking annoying.

Someone please help me before I snap this laptop in half.

    Internet Explorer

    Tools>Internet Options

    Connections Tab

    on the middle of the page, set it to "Never Dial a connection"

    What you need to do is open up your Network Connections control panel and delete the ethernet connection you created.
