crysis - objective help

so I'm in the village where the Asian archaeologist is being kept and the tanks come rolling in... I take them out like a god damned hero... but nothing happens. No new objective and psycho and the hostage are just standing there...

do I need to wipe out the whole camp? what am I doing wrong?

    Its a bug, re-load to before you infultrated the village. Do it all again soldier.

    I think you get a hint that the bug has fixed itself when after the second tank, your chum says "Theres still one tank left" or something similar.

    Then you know you're good to go.

    And make sure you reload right back to before you even see the village. :(

    Take it as a chance to throw stealth out the window and really fuck up their shit with your suit powers.

    I suggest strength jumping onto the roof of the school.

    If you want a better chance, reload the mission altogether, rather than from a save inside it
