Here are some images of a table top kit i made for the PLAYSTATION 3 game Eye of Jugdment. It basically makes the game playable without a PS3 and eliminates the difficulty of bookkeeping.
this shows a game in progress
this is it set up and almost ready to play.
look at how much cooler glass beads are then the paper health trackers
The PDF for this kit is available at my site (link in the Sig)
I just know someone is going to say "this should be in the table top forum" well guess what. I don't care and no one thinks your any smarter for saying that. My deck box says PLAYSTATION 3 on it so it's a dang video game.
Otherwise, it's really neat. But is EoJ worth playing as just a card game?
The PDF is fixed! To address your question. I think it's worth playing more then most card games. While the PS3 really helps players to learn the game naturally like they would a video game and the online component basically solves the number one problem with table top games (finding someone to play with). Also having true rules enforcement takes the TCG experance to a whole new level.
While the PS3 certainly adds value to the package the game it's self is really quite good. For me it plays out a bit more like a board game then a true TCG and thats a good thing IMO. EOJ is one of those few games where picking the best play is very difficult (for me any ways :P ). I made the PDF so more then the few privileged PS3 owners could play it.
Thanks for doing this. Eye of Judgment is one of the few PS3 games that has caught my eye, but it did so with gusto, because I am a giant whore for card games.
You may want to change a typo on your site though:
"The folded and glued pages create strong laminated game pieces that will last a long time with genital use."
