I just had that once. I don't remember the brand name but it was some kind of painkiller.

Yeah, Benadryl is only good if you don't want to get anything accomplished for the rest of the day.

Making it not especially helpful for people who have allergies every day.

Once I had a big allergic reaction to a drug, so a doc gave me a shot of an antihistamine, I actually think it was piriton. It was brilliant. I was off my face.

Almost as good as pethadine or morphine (god I love proper drugs).
    benzos are where it's at.

I've never had morphine though. I'd be worried that it'd have a similar effect to codeine on me, though I do not know how likely that is.

Gooey, was there frost on your vehicle this morning? There was on mine. It's like a magical winter wonderland out there.

Yes! In fact, I couldn't leave right away because I had to get the frost off my windows.

I almost put the chains on but I figured work would be cancelled anyway.

They are actually becoming driving mittens tomorrow morning because my steering wheel is just too cold for comfort.

And you're making some pretty big assumptions about snow there.

The last pair I'd purchased were Kelly green. However I doubt I'll buy another pair again after finding out they're made by Nike now. There's a neat site with excellent knock offs produced by union labor in India though.

Nah. But my work wear is pretty casual, and I generally prefer not to drive with a heavy coat. A T-Shirt doesn't provide a lot of insulation.

I will need to go outside and shovel in a short while. I don't know how much shoveling will be required, as the snowbank is covering up my window, making it impossible for me to see outside.

Have you laid in supplies? If so, I say screw that. Go find the warmest place in your house and do nothing till that snow melts.

See, in Canada, we've invented shovels. We use those to lift snow. Works way better than kicking it around with your legs.
