So I used to have cable internet then I left on a deployment for 15 months. When I came back the fuckers don't support my building any more for whatever reason. Same with DSL. On top of that I'm not in a satellite footprint for satellite 'net. All i could find is wireless that works over the cell phone network and plugs in via USB (slightly slower than DSL @60 a month unlimited). It's barely playable in COD4 and other games at the best of times. i was just wondering if anyone has any alternatives I can look at or any way to make this fucker go faster. My signal for it is max'd out too. i already built me a new antenna for the little bastard
I've got an EVDO USB modem from Sprint that I have hooked up to my laptop, and I share the connection to my 360, and I've always found it just fine for playing Halo 3 and CoD4. I can't host, but just joining other games is just fine.
