there's no way I'm raiding again - I wish there were guilds out there with people who cared about things other than pvp and gear. I would love to 3 man ony or try to 5man BWL or something for old times' sake, but no one's ever down. I've done the gear treadmill and now I just wanna have fun

The guild my lock is in (that my rogue used to be in) is like that. They're slow on progression, only just now shaping up to do Kara. But I know several people there that would like to do the old raids just to see them. And there isn't any "set" time to do things, because everyones schedules are so screwy. So if there's enough people on, and interested, we go do something as a group. We have a few people who left guilds that were in t6 content because they just wanted to relax and have fun doing whatever.
pfft, the Southern Hemishphere is the only real hemisphere - everyone outside of this is just living in the Land of Wind and Ghosts.
What the heck are you talking about, your toilets flush backwards.
Got a level 40 Lock in my guild that nobody really knows, they keep on taking a gold out of the bank every day. I think I need to talk to my guild leader and ask her to change permissions. Or find out what rank can't take money out of the bank if we have one. Because this person is very slowly bleeding us dry.
edit.. ps less than 24 hours in guild and I've already contemplated quitting several times due to a super annoying 16 year old jackass that doesn't shut the fuck up in guild chat awkwardly and desperately trying to cybermack some e-cunt starved for attention who just encourages him.

Yikes, I totally hate that. It's hilarious how obvious kids are when they flirt with each other. If only they realized how much they're embarrassing themselves. Tell them to get a room - a private one on vent or private channel in-game. I even hear people flirting on voicechat in TF2.
I hope she reveals she's really a man and shatters his worldview forever.
So, I'm thinking of rolling a character on Ravenholdt. Who do I have to contact to get into the PA Guild? Are there any particular classes you guys need?

Standard answer to that question has been, log on type in /who Beasts and send a tell to one of those asking about who can invite you. (If you want to be sure, check the guild name and see if they are in <Beasts of Unusual Size>
The people with invite privledges play a few different alts each.
Quick question PVP with 200ms connection. Impossible or Don't sweat?
200 MS isn't horrible, you won't be catching any fel domination summons, but it's not like it's going to be a huge handicap. You should see some improvement with 2.3.2 as well, since they're removing nagle's algorithm which was raping moderate-high ping players.
Are only serious business players able to get into Beasts? Or could casual players get in on the PA fun too. As in, I want a cool guild to chat with, but have no interest in raiding, unless it's something fun, like PVP raids around the world.

Whether they find a life there or not, I think Jupiter should be called an enemy planet.

I have a level 40 something druid in the guild, has been for months, haven't been kicked out yet.
And occasionally another forumer who is in a more raidcentric guild will invite the Beasts along on other adventures, like raiding and killing nearly every Alliance faction leader.

Hey dudes!
Where do you horde-types go to level once you reach 20'ish? My wife is looking for any alternative to the barrens for her undead 'lock. Also, to save me from having to ask in the future, where would you go from there? (I've only ever played alliance, so I'm not much help to her)

Feeling brave? On Blackrock I levelled there with absolutely no trouble. I killed one Alliance during the time I was there and that was the only one I ever saw, including a 45 minute stretch where I was killing mobs in plain view of the Stonetalon Peak flight path. Hillsbrad is the real trouble spot.
I'd add Ashenvale to the list of places you can level a Horde character in the 20s. There's a few decent quests at the two horde questing bases.

No I ment that Stonetalon is do this quest now go to Org/ Thunderbluff or somewhere else in the world and come back
Hillsbard is trouble I just don't know what kind of server he plays on
Ashenvale is not as bad as it used to be for the allaince
We're on a carebear-RP server, so no worries about gankage. So Stonetalon and Ashenvale both work pretty well? Good to hear. That's familiar territory, so it should be easy to get around.
I'm sure it's been asked before, but about Ravenholdt..
Is it super RP? I'd consider transferring my pally alt there but I fucking hate RP. I mean I could ignore it if someone is talking stupid in /say, but I would have to gquit if guild chat was full of a bunch of fruits pretending to be orcs and whatnot.
I guess the question is if guildchat contains roleplaying or if that's relegated to fatty/mangina combinations in dark corners of the tram.
Silvermoon City if full of standard RPer fare, but there is no reason to go there ever past the few jaunts during your initial 1-20 run through Eversong/Ghostlands. Beast guild chat is full of dickbaggery and shennanigans, not RP.

I never got my paladin to 60 in time to get into BWL, but I'll be damned if I don't keep the recolored t2 helm from SV forever.
The recolored one is ugly as sin. Go 3 man Onyxia or something :P
why dont you set some off from your balcony
or something
wtb play by play commentary
also, being drunk makes the netherwing dailies surpsingly bearable
I am trying collect the entire set even though I am a tank on her
I saw a Troll wearing the full set I forgot where I have the pic though
That makes no sense. There is no timezone difference between the northern and sourthern hemispheres.

Hell, I did it for months at a time.
Then the members in question grew up a bit, and everything was cool.
Not at all.

As for class, what do you have fun playing?

You might find some ERPers in the cities, but RP in general is kept private.
I'll get right to the point.
