It's a pretty cool project but I wish blizz would do this themselves. It would sell billions. (estimation only).
Im just worried at how smushed the units will look on the DS's tiny screen.
And guess how many got finished. V0.01 is nothing. Wake up the internet when they have some serious stuff to show.
That's fair. I can't say I've ever followed StarCraft ports on various consoles, but I do remember forlornly following numerous HL mods that never went anywhere. I certainly don't want to get anyone's hopes up.
Still, I thought it was a pretty neat idea. And I'll be following this project untill it either crashes and burns or gets a full release.

More to the point - why would I want SC for any system that doesn't support KB&M controls?

But yeah, I have little hopes for this project as awesome as it has potential to be.
That said, the stylus takes care of the problems that a lack of mouse causes for console RTS's. The lack of keyboard is a shame, but not unovercomable. I think it could work well.

Damnit, now this is at the top of the list of ports I want but will never get. I remember reading that Nintendo had promised 1 gig official carts to developers, so 2 gigs might not be out of the question.

there's a lot of potential here, with this being just a 0.1 release from 2 guys working on it for 3 weeks. hopefully, that potential will be realized.

Actually, I can see how that would be annoying on a forum which does not use a distinct colour for links. Back to good old boring bold then.
The day that happens will be the day I buy stock in every company that makes DS screen protectors (tap tap tap tap tap tap tap taptaptaptaptaptaptaptaptaptaptap) and then immediately go out an buy another DS and a copy of Starcraft DS.
