X Box 360 Memory Units & Gamertags

How do I move my gamertag to my 360 memory unit? I need to know so I can have quick access to my gamertag while at my friend house.

    Open the System Blade (the last one to the right). Select Memory, then the correct save location. Select Gamer Profiles and then the profile you want to move. After that, it should be pretty easy.

    Thanks, I was under the impression that you were able to have your gamertag on both the HD and memory unit. I was only able to move the tag to either/or. Am I doing it right?

    You're doing it right. It's limited to one location at a time.

    You're doing it right. It's limited to one location at a time.
    Basically, it's for copy protection/DRM stuff. If you leave the tag on the MU it will work just fine, even on the 'original' Xbox. It just adds an extra step if you must manually select the tag to login.
