Bionic Commando Rearmed (XBLA & PSN)

Alt title would be: Holy Fucking Shit!

Apparently there is going to be a HD remake (and reimagining) of the original Bionic Commando for XBLA and PSN. Hearing the original title fading in during the trailer is just too epic. Check it out...

Super stoked to see this come out, as the original game was most excellent. Though I don't see why you would bother getting the fully 3D version with this on the way... Anyhow, discuss!

EDIT: Also, yes, there is two player co-op!

    Wow that looks very fucking cool. I think some devs are finally realizing that 2D Gameplay + 3D Artwork = 1 Fuck Awesome game.

    Might give it a go. Especially if there's Live Co-Op.

    But really, I think Bionic Commando is one of the most over rated games from the nostalgia period. As much fanfare as the bionic arm gets, the game controlled really horribly.

    I loved the NES game, and I loved the GBC version even more (seriously, why does everyone forget about that one?) so I'm glad to see this. I'm sure the 3D Bionic Commando will be fine and all, but this is really what I want. :D

    Yay, I am truly oh so happy. This is what Xbox Live Arcade needs more of, not crappy Digital Eclipse revamps, but good, excellent sidescrolling goodness.

    I enjoyed the original so I'd like to try this. Looks like they made some worthy gameplay additions, and co-op? Hell yes.

    The music in the trailer is pretty terrible though, worst arrangement I've ever heard of that song.

    Yeah, I'd so quickly buy a remastered SotN... I don't have a PSP, and hence haven't played the Dracula Chronicles, but did they tweak that version of SotN at all?

    Anyway, is there a target release date for Rearmed or the new 3D Bionic Commando? I don't have access to game sites here at work...
