Steam Validation Problem

Today I went to go play Garry's Mod with someone. I tried to join the server, but got the message "STEAM Validation Rejected. I had thought that maybe it was just the server that was the problem. This was not the case. I went to multiple servers and got the same message. I then tried restarting Steam, but still had the same problem. I even thought that only Garry's Mod was the problem, but when I tried Team Fortress 2 I got the same stupid message. Is there anything I can do?
Edit: I have just tried Counter-Strike and that worked, but I still have the same problem occuring with Garry's Mod.
Edit 2: Phew TF2 works but I'm still getting th esame damn problem with Garry's Mod.
Final Edit?: For some reason it worked in a server so hopefully I was just joining a bunch of shitty servers.
