Honestly, I think Wolf is the big disappointment. I know people wanted him, but these people are crazy. At least ROB will be new and interesting. I liked G&W in Melee, even if I couldn't really play him.
Also, I am envious that the Star Fox series, which I most definitely do not love gets so much and the consistently brilliant Metroid series gets like, a half character. Petty? Absolutely.
Yeah, open your eyes, people. Animal Crossing man/woman would never work. Ridley is apparently teh hueg. Mega Man and Leon are property of Capcom and gave Nintendo the finger.

At this point I'm cool with the 35 character roster, I just hope, really hope, that cloning is kept to a minimum. If there are three Starfox characters that all play alike when those spaces could have been used for someone else I'll be pissed.
Besides the exclusion of incredibly awesome characters like Mega Man, my only gripe with the characters that did make it is Falco/Wolf. One of them, fine. Both of them? Overkill. Especially if Falco is still a clone. As much as I dislike Krystal, she would have had a much better moveset than either of them.
Okay, maybe ROB could play in an interesting manner. I guess. Maybe he could, like, transform? Like a Transformer. It's not even a matter of, as Magic Pink said, "Because he got in instead of [favorite character], that's why.", because I could think of a dozen characters that I don't even really like but would rather see in Smash Bros. than ROB.
Wolf, though, better not be a clone though because apparently we're already getting a Fox clone with Falco and if there are two clones of the same character that would suck because otherwise it's like Mortal Kombat with its 12 ninja roster.
Yeah, do bear in mind that in the Japanese version Bowser is Koopa and Charizard is Lizardon. Hopefully he'll still be "Young Link" for us.
But he ISN'T Young Link.
Personally, I like to think that all the games where Link is a younger boy are in with the Cel-Shaded style. Yeah, I know MM and whatnot, But outside of the N64 era I do think in a retcon way that LTTP, Oracle, Minish, WW, PH and LA are in the same kinda.. area. At least in recent years the WW style has become the default for the 'young' Link as seen in Four Swords and Minish Cap.
I dont really see how people can even be pissed at this game.
Even if your favorite charecter isn't in it, the level of detail and incredible amount of content in it should be more than enough to make this game one of the most brilliant releases of our time.
