So yeah, I want to make a window, say, for example, stay on top of other windows. So I can watch a movie while fishing in WoW, for example.

I'm using Windows XP.

If your watching a movie via windows media player, version 11 has the ability to run in a small window on the taskbar that is always on top. Just minimize and then click the symbol that looks like up and down arrows ( ^ that and one going down).

Most 3rd party video players have a setting in their preferences or options to "always be on top". VLC media player does, its free , and plays most anything.
