Lost Planet: Colonies - Lost Planet 2 or DLC Expansion Pack?
Somebody at Neogaf spotted an article on the Achievements for this at 360Sync. Capcom asked the article to be pulled but somebody else cached it here: http://tinyurl.com/ysqk75
We just got the achievements for a game entitled “Lost Planet: Colonies.†Here is the odd part…. we can’t seem to find anything on the game, no screen shots, no press releases, pretty much nothing! So, let’s talk about the achievements!
There is quite the range of achievements in this game. The majority are reserved for various multiplayer feats, including leveling up, playing and winning battles, collecting titles and medals, battling on different maps, and getting tons of kills. The single player achievements reveal a couple features of the game: score attack mode, trial battle mode and obviously, there’s the campaign. There are achievements for hitting various goals within the single player modes so you might have to play through the various modes of the game in order to pick them all up. Oh, and this game can’t touch “Seriously,†the largest online kill achievement is only up to 5000.
The full list is embedded after the jump!
The game has a full 1000 gamerpoints so it looks like it's a full fledge sequel. Some people are guessing it may be a downloadable expansion pack though. Any theories?
It has multiplayer achievements for leveling up though, so I'm not sure how it would work just as an expansion unless it completely separated the multiplayer from the original game. That said, post grab was awesome.

Sounds like a new game. Here's hoping the singleplayer is worth something. As much as I liked the multiplayer in LP, it had its fair share of problems.

I liked the multiplayer portion of Lost Planet, so I still might watch out for this. Big robots and grappling hooks are neato.
A standalone DLC expansion pack would be really cool, but until we get more information next week I'm thinking it will be a full retail title.
