Unity II is a rewrite of their video system and they hope to have it out this year. In the last update 1.28, they did some of the Unity...called Unity 1.5 since some fixes were not deep code rewrites and this reduced a lot of the stutter for AC when they first load up a town during a fight. FPS increased a lot on lower machines and some on higher. If you have not played in a while TOE has been implemented so that equipment is tied to units and not to towns, so that maneuver has become more important. Use to be ..take a town get a full spawn list...now...lose a town you had better save your equipment or the BDE goes to training for like 6 hours and cant be used. New firebase rules, depot spawing rules and more rule changes have altered the fundamental game play. You can always suspect a fanbois's post but everyone seems to have embraced the new combat rule changes.
Giga TV, German National Digital TV did 30 mins on ww2ol, so CRS finally got some good publicity.
There is still a two week freebie, but it does require a CC, but cancel and still play, Rats are very good about customer relations since they are only about 12 people and easy to reach.
One of the worse launchers in history, but CRS has and does constantly patch and update and it grows slowly. It ia a niche game but can be addictive, so if it has been a while try the freebie you may find it has grown to something you can enjoy.
