I... don't really see anything inherently wrong with that. Make girls feel good about themselves? Great. Do it through rock music? Go right ahead, your call.
First off, little girls cannot write rock music. Rock music is about sex, drugs, or alienation by means of the late-capitalistic drive for reification.
Secondly, it's not teaching girls to feel good about themselves. It's feeding them a new-age, bullshit ideology, interpolating them saying: "girls, you are a subject! A rock subject!" And what's even worse is that it interpolates them by extorting body image help. Fucking bullshit. All it's gonna do is create a bunch of ego-centric people who feel that they're thoughts are more important because they are rock stars.
Plus, rock stars are cool. Little kids are not.
