Audio conversion from 44100 to 22050 - Solved

If I do it in audacity it basically doubles the length of the track and slows down the tempo and I can't manage to fix it. Just need to convert the rate of a short music file. Any tips?

    1.) Open the file in audacity
    2.) Change the "Project Rate" in the bottom left hand corner to 22,050.
    3.) Export

    Man I'm retarded. I didn't even see it down there all blending in. I was doing it from the dropdown list under the name of the track (Set Rate) which fucks up the audio. Thanks a ton! Solved.
