Session tracking

I'm doing my final project for my web programming class and my part is to implement session tracking. The site is to be an auction site with a shopping cart(optional), feedback, user login, inventory (its basically ebay if you aren't logged in you can still look at the inventory but you can't bid.) and we are using JSP to implement this. I'm totally totally lost and really really pressed for time. Finals are coming and this isn't my only final project to work on. So if you could point me to some really good JSP tutorials i would definately appreciate it, also once I have some code to post if you would be willing to volunteer your services in the debugging and advice categories that would be great as well. So if you can help let me know. I'm not looking for someone to do my work for me just looking for some easier to understand help than the notes my professor provided.

I would like to put something clever and about me but I fear my company will find it
