Cheap Alternatives to XBOX 360 Wireless?

It looks like the wireless adapter for the XBOX 360 is fetching fairly high prices no matter where I look. Is there a good place to purchase these? What about alternatives like using an additional router to contact an established network? Or how about ethernet power line bridges? Any information is appreciated.

You can turn a wireless router into a wireless dongle for your 360, yes. In fact, I'd recommend it if you have a spare one lying around, unless you happen to have a laptop or desktop next to your 360 with wireless internet. You can use an ethernet cable to bridge the connection between your laptop or desktop and share your internet between the PC and the 360.

They also make wireless bridges. But I'm not sure if they're "cheap"

You can find one of these at most bestbuy's for about $20. They work great unless you host the Live game.

Just buy the thing. Having it work 100% of the time is better than saving $30 and having there be problems all the time. It sucks but is the truth.

Can we get the chemicals in. 'Cause anything's better than this.
