So, I went to Selfridges last night with some girly friends, it was one of their Beauty in Bloom nights, £10 a ticket, free cocktails all night, £10 off anything you buy, free make-overs and stuff. There was a silly hoopla competition, I demanded to be nearer than all the other entrants (10:00 pm by now, imbibing since 7:45 pm, so a bit rowdier than normal, just a bit). The silly boys running the competition agreed, and gave me 4 hoops. I missed with every single one (throwing with a broken right hand in a fibreglass cast, left arm still in a sling, 3 1/2 weeks after accident whilst stone cold sober). They foolishly gave me 4 more, saying the first attempt was just a practice. I somehow managed to throw all 4 rings over the stands, scored the highest points for the night, and have won a £100 gift card to be spent in their shop.
I don't know what to buy. If I buy a DS, there's only a few games I could play, cos I can only use the stick thingy, not the buttons, but its tempting - although right now, I couldn't use it at all. I haven't got an MP3 player, but I only really listen to music on my PC or in my car, and I have no idea about other gadgets. My husband suggested buying stuff for our front room, which is being decorated next week - not a chance! I don't often buy stuff just for me, so I thought I would, for a change.
Gadget ideas please!
Thank you.

Surfing the Selfridges site proved fruitless. But, if they have it, may I suggest the Flip Video Ultra.
It's only about 150 dollars in the states, which would translate to about 80 of your funbucks. Really happy with mine, it takes up to 60 minutes of video on the 2 GB memory card it comes with, then there is a little flip out USB that you can plug right into your computer to transfer the movie lickety split.
