I actually thought the entire issue of Mighty Avengers was well written and answered some questions I had about Sentry's role in SI. Let's face it, the only way to beat him is psychological attacks.
Maybe now people will stop with the "that dosen't mean Spider-Woman is a Skrull!" nonsense at least.
I don't really believe Spider-Woman isn't a Skrull anymore, but why the hell are the Skrulls meeting in human form?
It was explained in the New Avengers issue that to maintain thier level of deep cover they had to remain in those forms, otherwise they would become detectable again.

It's still weird that Spider-Woman and Hank Pym are the only ones who showed up in street clothes. I mean, Elektra, Jarvis, and a bushel of SHIELD Agents congregating in a seemingly abandoned building is pretty suspicious in itself.
Just because you can't shapeshift doesn't mean you can't buy a trenchcoat and a fake moustache.

So, I just read through House of M for my first time (and it was pretty awful), and I noticed that on the fourth page of the second issue, there are a couple of figures in the audience of a talk show that definitely look like Skrulls. The main subject of the talk show? Wonder Man.
I thought the art in House of M was pretty bad, and the actual event barely had any closure for characters like Xavier, Layla, Hawkeye, or Quicksilver (let alone the characters like Spider-Man that have to carry the burden of remembering the whole ordeal). I'm sure it was all sorted out in the comics that followed, but as an actual series, it seemed like little more than an excuse to decimate the mutant population, revive Hawkeye, and give Wolverine his memory back; the story didn't hold together all that well.
At least, that's my opinion (perhaps these flaws seemed more glaring since I don't really read Marvel that much). *Shrug*
That Hulk page that was posted in the panel thread was pretty sweet, and I liked the Captain America tie-in when I read it in the omnibus. I don't know, it seems to me that House of M was used for good things, but the series itself was a bit lackluster. All I'm sayin', ain't trying to start no thang.
It didn't really need to be an event, I don't think, but I think the story held up for the most part, and comic events aren't ever really going to give full closure on things. They may set up big changes in the universe, or for specific characters, and their story continues on in other books.
I did think the art was fantastic. But I guess Coipel's one of my favorite artists, so I dunno.
Well, I suppose I should amend what I said. I thought the art was uneven; some of the page layouts were pretty hard to follow, there were definitely some instances where some proportions seemed kind of wonky. But a lot things, like the Iron Man design and the House of M costumes, were really nice.

Think this means anything?
Since this has been ignored what with everyone leaping to HoM's defence, I went back and checked. They both have pointy ears and one is definitely green... but neither of them have the wierd skrully chin. So it probably doesn't mean anything.

but thats how every event works
they are all used to set up multiple springboards to be followed up on.

I'm wondering if
Because I really liked the character.
The void is going to rip everyone a new one.
but it could be cool

And yeah, this issue did suck.

but jarvis changed into the void at their meeting
Think this means anything?
Forcing titles to be turned into the alt-universe... not so much? I should look at some of those trades though, I liked the concept a lot.

It also had one of the worst Iron Man stories of all time.

you thought the art of all things was bad?
Copiel was at the top of his game.
Some of the tie-ins were rad.
i have the hardcover and its so nice to just crack open and flip through
i think copiel is rad

and seriously, Copiel is fucking awesome
And yes, Copiel is great.
the Spider-Man, Iron Man, and Fantastic Four tie-ins were shit.
I mean, I suppose that would make sense, but Quesada specifically said that there were Skrulls in House of M, so I don't know, just a thought.
Jeez, guys.
