The Guiding Principles and New Rules document is now in effect.
Winamp can do this, and the album art you find from there *should* also show in other media players that support the feature.
In 5.531:
1. Select album of songs in media library
2. Right-click and select "View File Info" (or Alt-3)
3. Go to Artwork tab
4. Click on "Download art"
5. Select correct artwork
6. Accept a few times
7. Repeat for every album you own.
Oh ok, also now that I have an itunes account will there be a confirmation before I purchase anything or can I just accidently click something and buy it?

It will always ask to confirm the purchase, unless you tell it not to.
Don't do that.
You can try the program I linked to earlier. I haven't used it, but it sounds like it will do all the rest that aren't in the Itunes Library.

Double-clicking on a song in the iTunes store will give you a 30 second demo. You have to actually click on "Purchase Song," which is pretty clearly labeled, to download it, and even then it will ask for a confirmation.

That link is a program that downloads the album art from Amazon.com

Might be an easier way, but I don't know it.
An Itunes gift card works too.
You do? Since when? I've ever given them any CC info.
You can do them all at once by selecting all of the songs (CTRL-A), right clicking, and selecting "Get Album Artwork" from the right click menu.
Just tried it, is there any reason it won't find album artwork for the majority of my albums?
It doesn't find artwork for anything that isn't on the iTunes store
This includes improperly tagged/labeled albums
