I am being given a 89" Merkur Scorpio with 140 000 km on it and was wondering how hard the parts would be to find for one of these and if anyone had any experiance with Merkur in general would be great. Thanks!
huh..... Google..... Should have thought of that.. Should have thought of that. Still, anyone ever have any experiance with this type of car ?
I don't know anything about that particular car, but the wiki says it's ford, and in my experience ford has some of the easiest mechanics to work on. I'd check first to see if you're going to need metric tools or not. I would think so, but according to wiki it's the North American version of a European car, so they may have switched over.

so far I've found body parts, oem parts for engine, tranny, suspension, o2 sensor, cat converter, and engine.
