When I try to immunize my system it says I am missing administrator rights to perform this action. What does that mean how do I get administrator rights? This is on a private laptop running Vista.
That's UAC playing up I believe. Not sure if you can go around it without having to turn the whole feature off...Something I wouldn't recommend to anyone not being really sure about their computer skills(z).
user authentication control. The screens that keep popping up nearly every time you run a program/move a file/whatever are the most visible part of it.
You will have to wait for someone else to properly explain how to deal with this, though, as I am horribly uneducated on the subject.

right click on my computer, then go to "manage" and left click
select users and groups, then users, then your name, and make sure you're part of the admin group
log off, don't shut down, just select log off or switch user, and log on as admin, there shouldn't be a password, and you can set it up from there
hold shift and right click to do run-as also, if just right clicking doesn't work
thnx for everone's help
