I got a call from my brother because his HP laptop is down.
He says he was surfing the net looking for red vs. blue videos when he got a blue screen of death and then his screen shut off. He tried to reboot his laptop, but while he could hear the rest of the computer coming to life, the screen does not power up at all. He's in Texas at the moment so I can't physically look at his machine. I told him to call HP in the morning
Does the computer power up completely or does it power up for a bit, then reboot? If the former, then, from my pretty sucky and limited knowledge, I'd say that it might be a driver problem. (Don't take my word for it, though.)
