Does anyone have any experience buying large quantities of land. I have found a place called lando south Carolina with a huge amount of completely undeveloped woods, I was wondering where I would go to find out who owns which pieces so I can inquire about buying.

The city/county council's office will normally have everything alloted to lots, and be able to tell you who owns them.

The Chester County Assessor's Office would be able to tell you that information.

just remember to check what the land is currently zoned for. commercial, industrial, residential??? any restrictions? make sure you'll be able to do what you want with this purchased land.

And don't be surprised if you discover that a section of completely undeveloped woods is actually parkland.

Parkland, wildlife reserve, natural area, it could even be available for purchase but have a conservation easement on it.
