Eh I thought his last album was good. Not really like his older stuff but still good. Still though this song right here makes me hopeful that he his back to his old self.
reDublo: good call, man. my favorite song on it is probably cops keep firing if only because of the sick Jigga sample
Just FYI, I saw Wu-Tang clan when they came through Chicago to kick off their latest album tour (coincidentally, no GZA, apparently there's some beef going down)... I'm about as white as they come, and I did not feel out of place in any way shape or form.
Andre 3000 definitely has some awesome delivery. Dude is cool.
Content trumps delivery, IMO
Look at Talib Kweli, for example. Yeah, his shit isn't nearly as smooth, but at least motherfucker has something to say.
i would rather be cornholed with a pneumatic drill then listen to Talib Kweli
i don't excuse idiotic bullshit like This is Why I'm Hot but not all rap needs to be some moody indie cred bullshit, not everybody needs to be Mos Def
To be fair, I was thinking early Talib
motherfucker has gotten way too militant with his last few albums
i haven't heard them, i mainly just don't like his voice at all basically
i was exaggerating a bit in that post though, i don't hate socially conscious rap, i just have a few friends who won't shut the hell up about Mos Def and i'm sick of him.

Every time I watch a Mos Def interview, I can't help but think he's a complete fucking idiot.

Also, speaking of rapper covers, I thought this was a pretty funny collaboration.
