Luke Cage is a blatant Sam Jackson rip off. Blatant I tell ya! Though I do like the dialouge.
I just don't like the line up. At least take Wolverine and Spidey out, there is no point having them there. They are both way too busy with their own shit (or in logans case the x-men and his own origins crap) to be running around with the New Avengers.

If Spider-Man's ever going to stop being a criminal, he needs to help the New Avengers.

Umm... aren't the New Avengers all criminals in that they are still actively opposing the SHRA? How is that going to help Spidey?

I thought they were going to look for the mysterious cause behind the SHRA, ostensibly because revealing it will end this madness. Isn't that what Bendis has said they'd be doing?
And the final pages of Civil War do show the New Avengers carrying on the mission of the Secret Avengers.

Right, but I'm pretty sure they are still acting in violation of the SHRA.

Regardless of what Bendis said, it appears to me that they're just like-minded guys doing their job while avoiding registration together. They're less likely to be hunted down and caught when they have backup.
I don't think Pete, or any of the New Avengers, are at all concerned with unravelling some SHRA scheme, but rather just kicking ass while keeping each other out of the Negative Zone.

Of course.
But Spider-Man will continue be a fugitive no matter what he does, assuming he wasn't granted a pardon (what happened with those?), so what courses of action are available to him beyond helping the New Avengers succeed in revealing the truth behind the act?
And being backed up by the rest of the team also does help Spidey, as it gives him a potential bail out if he's ever caught, not to mention the standard reasons for being in a team.
I don't see how Pete can go globe trotting with his new avenger buddies when his aunt and wife are now in more danger than ever thanks to his identity being known.

I think they're going to be written out for a while.
Probably send them somewhere, for their safety. It just doesn't make sense for them to stay if New York, but Peter has to for the crime fighting.

So on CBR, Kirkman posted up some pages from some of his upcoming issues for Irredeemable Ant-Man, Invincible, Marvel Zombies: Dead Days, and Ultimate X-Men.
There were earlier previews with Cap alive with capekillers in tow, so the lack of Cap's response may be "WHAT IN THE FUCK IS THIS MAN TALKING ABOUT? HE'S DIRECTOR OF SHIELD?!" and being pissed off because of Tony's "I can see the future. I saw this happening, because I know science." stance. Also, disbelief because of zombie war with Arthur.
It's like Tony fucked Cap's girlfriend, and expects to trade Pokemon with him afterwards as if nothing happened.
I don't think he is talking to Captain America, though that would make sense if he was. I would like to think that Cap is actually dead and will stay that way for more than two issues.
I'm only picking it up because I fuckin' love Maleev's art. For a third time, this is not a comic you pick up to hear a reasonable answer as to why Civil War happened.
Edit: Caveman, it's in the context of a conversation.

Who is he talking to? Best guesses anyone?
He's talking to Captain America. The issue takes place both before and after his death.
Jesus Christ. Maleev can do no wrong. Whatever he draws instantly becomes the definitive whatever it is in my mind. That Iron Man is amazing (not the first panel. That one's pretty lame).
I just love the look on Norman's face after Songbird's remark on Moonstone's lack of participation. It just seems to say "Thank you, Lord, for the bounty I'm about to recieve."

God, Moonstone is a total bitch. She could rival Ms. Marvel for sheer bitchiness. Yeesh, and after seeing how Songbird reacted, I feel a little bad for laughing when she got hit in the throat with a sewer grate.

My bet is that they're going to put Cap back on ice. That way he's neither dead nor alive. Tony is talking to an icecube.
I was thinking it might just be Cap's dead body, but he mentioned to the guards going in if it had been any trouble. It could have been a joke, but that seems a little disrespectful and probably wouldn't win him any points with the SHIELD boys whom he points out hate his guts already after his stupid speech.
It probably is Cap, though what state he's in is still a big ?

So Tony Stark has the amazing super powerful ability to have visions and then making something to fix it? He also has the apparent ability to be a completely egotistical dick about it in thinking that his visions are always right. So, in order to stop a terrible battle between super heroes, a superpowered civil war you might say, he caused a terrible battle between super heroes. Yeah, awesome move on your part there, Starky boy.
Also, King Arthur fighting a war against zombies? What the hell?!
Oh, and Tony Stark gabbing like a sixteen year old girl about meeting King Arthur is hilarious.

I think the fact that he is pretty smart and has been constantly accurate made him arrogant, and so missed the fact that his actions were creating the problem just as much as the Stamford incident.

His ability to see the future isn't a "power" it's just his very powerful brain thinking logically and CW was the conclusion. And he was right, eventually heroes would fight heroes.
True he started it all but if he had not it would have only been a matter of time till something or someone else sparked a similiar war off.
At least that's what I'm sure Tony believes. Instead of leaving it to chance he arranged things to work out in a way he felt would be best for everyone. Sure the plan didn't work exactly as he hoped and ya he's a total dick for thinking he has the right to plan everyone else's futures for them but it's not hard to see things from his side of the issue.
Marvel editor Mark Paniccia did an interview with Newsarama, talking about some of the upcoming books for Marvel. There were quite a few preview pics of WWH, Mystic Arcana, and the second X-Men:First Class series.

Edit: Yes. You read that right. Tony purposely brought about a Civil War because of a zombie with he fought alongside King Arthur. You are not high.
Looks like a better conclusion than, you know, the two or more other conclusions that preceded it.
