Can hear game audio through microphone? (solved)

When I'm playing WOW, people can hear the game audio, eg when I attack monsters, buy stuff, basically everything I'm doing. I'm using a headset with a mic. They can also hear when people on msn log in/out etc. This is happening on Ventrilo.

How can I make it so that they can only hear my voice and not the game audio?

    Turn your volume down, wear headphones, move farther away from the speakers?

    Turn down the volume of everything else?

    In all likelihood its because the mic is picking it up.

    I found the answer. The problem was you have to mute stereo mix in windows audio control.
