So it looks like connection issues are getting more and more frequent.

Either that or people hate my game. I am now down to one player in the IRC room, after starting with like five or six or something like that in my first session.

As an ST, this is slightly frustrating and irritating. Do you guys want to change the day? Are you having scheduling issues? Or do you just hate me or something? Let me know.

Hey, My DC was a freak BSOD and was resolved in like 5 minutes.

But yeah, it's getting lonely hogging all of the awesome.

And CJ, we didn't kill you. You just got thrown around like a playtoy for a bit, and I ended up blowing a guy's brains out.

Not so much a scheduling issue to be honest. Unless you move it to Saturday, I'll still be sailing down shit creek if I need something done early on a weekday, no matter which you move it to. So while I'll try to be around, some things can't be avoided and in those cases sleep and thing next day takes priority.

You guys missed me ripping the roof off an elevator and then one-punching a guy to death. His head dented the wall.

EDIT: Spent my 7 XPs! I'm never gonna get to Demi-god with the way I spend. :D

There is definitely room for two more! Just send your sheets to me via PM, or post them in the thread, and as long as they meet with my approval(which isn't that hard to come by, I'm easy-going,) you're in!

If you have any questions, my contact info is in the OP(newly updated with it!) and I'll be around for the next few days, since it's my pseudoweekend!

    Cool, more players.

Also Cynic, we forgot to mention that your character is still wearing handcuffs, I believe, with a pistol shoved into one hand and a heavy metal lockbox in the other. You're being held by the upper arm in an elevator shaft by yours truly.

I'm debating whether to jump strait to legend four and grab sky 3, because come on, lightning sword? Yes please!

Man, what the fuck is up with you guys and messing up the second I'm not there. First you get me killed. Sure, I can live (harr harr) with that, but now I'm dangling in an elevator holding a lockbox that has my scalpel in it? Seriously.

Yeah, but I shot a dude in full riot gear with his own weak-ass pistol and had enough successes to cut through his massive soak and kill him in one shot.

All with a Marksmanship skill of 1 and no epic dex. The circumstances might have been in my favor, but still.
His dodge was reduced to zero, I had a +2 bonus for point blank and a +2 for stunt, and ended up with nine threshold successes on the damage roll.

Anyways, I'd love to see what type of scions these two guys come up with.

Quick summary of events and cast of characters so far:
Plutonium - Playing Simon, a Scion of Zeus. He has a truly ancient mythical sword and a lot of bad dudes want it. Likes creative uses of the Overt Order knack.
Infidel - Playing Devon, a Scion of Tezcatlipoca. He has a relic gun and a leaves much of his actions up to chance.
Cynic Jester - Playing Ann, a Scion of Anubis. She has a relic scalpel that summons a reaper to do her bidding, and a father who takes pity on her misfortunes.
INeedNoSalt - Playing Kandy, a Scion of Kalfu. She controls the voodoo spirits, man. Also a mean nurse.
JacquesCousteau - Playing Brad, a Scion of Baldur - This Ken-doll rides the magic norsie horsie and punches the bad guys.

Story takes place in New York. Encounter began with some strange murders in central park, where the group encountered some ichor-ninjas which were infesting hobos. The actions shifted to Simon's park-side apartment building, which was being raided by what appeared to be a SWAT team looking specifically for him and his loot, and some bombs were planted around the building, which begins to collapse Simon jumps out off the fire escape into the office building nextdoor, where the group catches up with him from below and takes down half a dozen of the SWAT team that rappelled over, through creative use overt order and grenades. The group makes its escape in a car, which is rammed by a Black Van, resulting in Ann (who missed that session) being incapacitated. After a quick encounter that involved Simon cutting the in half and then blowing its leaking gas tank with a road flare, and Devon running down a dude carrying a stretcher, the group made its way to the hospital along with Kandy, who was guided there by fate and rode in the ambulance. Ann was pronounced DOA, and another ichor-hobo showed up. Simon proceeded to "borrow" Ann's artifact, and whoop some ass. Anubis took pity on his death-prone child, and brought her back, though I'm still fuzzy on how that happened. The evil SWAT team then surrounds the hospital, and takes Ann and Simon into custody after they receive another strange phone call telling them to go along with them and promising backup. (There are a lot of wierd phone calls) Brad, a doctor at the hospital, follows the van on his legendary norse horse. Simon and Ann are taken to an underground garage and are wearing handcuffs in a cargo elevator with a few SWAT dudes, heading further underground. Brad punches through the roof of the elevator, and Simon takes the opportunity to snap his handcuffs with ease and the two of them kill a few swat. Ann can't break the handcuffs, and then thanks to an ingenous designer, the elevator activates its built-in "plummet" mode and falls, but not before the dude with Simon's sword gets away, and the three scions are left holding onto an elevator cable.

As long as it's balanced, I'm sure that she'll be fine with it. You might want to know during creation that we're using some houserules, shown on the second post of the thread. I'll post them again here:
    Houserules:

    1. Untouchable Opponent is disallowed. You can get a DV of over 100 at God level, making you utterly impossible to hit. You don't want to face something like that, so you don't get to use it.

    2. Relic weapons may not have a Speed of less than 3. The Tick-based combat time system of Scion breaks down if you go beyond that. You may use Boons and Knacks as written, which may reduce speed beyond that, but the base speed can't drop below 3.

    3. You may take a Knack to add Epic Perception to Firearms damage, which fixes the problem of Firearms really really sucking at high Hero and up.

    Addendum 2
    Houserule: Epic Appearance
In the rules as written, Epic Appearance does very, very little. To counteract this, your dots of Epic Appearance subtract directly from the successes of Presence or Manipulation rolls made against you, representing how horrifying/attractive you are and distracting them from their true purpose.

    Addendum 3
When making Relic weapons, try to pick the weapon profile closest to what you have envisioned, but don't feel like you have to take a shitty set of stats if you really don't want to. Some weapons are WAY better than others, and this makes a difference. For Relic weapons, just pick a set of stats that your weapon is vaguely similar to. For non-relic weapons, you're sticking to base stats, just as an FYI.

Also, I think we're considering putting a bonus modifier on PDV, in order to make it not useless.

As said, I don't have the Scion Companion(and I'm not going to pick it up until it's fully released.) I have, however, heard of a few balance issues concerning the Tuatha de Danaan's later PSP boons.

So, they're out for now. Sorry.
