For those interest in a combination of TCG games + online flash based + dress up your avatar + anime art + buying more dress for your avatar and more cards with real money.
You should try out Alteil, its basically a Japanese developed TCG game that you play on your browser! The game was made 5 years ago, and just recently translated into English.

What types of cards are there?
There are 4 types of element cards, unlike Magic: TCG, its not recommended to mix 2 different types of element in one deck as of now, until more advance cards are release that take advantage of it. So be careful when you choose your starter deck, you most likely going to use the element of your starter deck for a long long time.
How many cards per deck
30 cards total, no more, no less. Only 3 of the same type will be allow. 25 cards will be used to play in game game, the remaining 5 will be your "soul card".
What is soul card?
Soul cards are basically your life point, some card has 1 life point per card, and some have 3. So you can have 5 cards, all with 3 life point, which will make your total life point 15. Any cards can be used as soul card, some cards has powerful effects that will activate as you take damage if you use them as soul cards, but those card usually have low life point. Some cards will even have negative effect on you when you taking damages, but those will usually give you huge life point bonus.
Just think of soul cards as your shield, if all 5 are gone and you take damage, you lose the game.
How do I read the cards?
Each cards have the following status:
HP: The health point of the card when you play it on the field, if that reach zero, the card will close/die (more on this later)
lp: The life point it will give you when you use it as a soul card.
AT: The attack point, or the damage that your card can deal
DF: The card's defense, opponent attack - your defense = damage taken.
AGI: How fast your card move, the card with highest AGI make attack first, if its the same then it'll be random.
RNG: The range of the cards attack. If a card has RNG of 2, it can hit the enemy card that's closest to it in the front + the any enemy card behind it. If it has RNG of 1, it can only hit the card closest to it in the front.
What's the effect of cards?
OPEN: The effects will activate when you first play the card.
START: The effects will activate when your card take its turn.
CLOSE: The effects will activate when your card's HP reach 0.
Conditional/Time: The effect will activate during a set of time, there are 3 different types of "Time": Morning, Noon, and Midnight, it'll rotate every turn, some cards will only be useful at certain times. \
Action Skills: The effect will activate when you choose to activate it, note that if you activate its effect, it cannot attack for this turn.
Auto Skills: The effect will be use automatically, even if you don't want to.
How long does a game usually take
5 - 15 min, usually shorter, but when you play with beginner it takes them some time to read what the card do.

Is it Free? Does it cost money per game like Yu-Gi-Oh or money per booster pack like Magic?
Free to play, when you started, you got to choose 1 out of 4 starter decks. The start deck came with a full deck plus some extra cards for you to play around with. For those of you enjoy buying virtual stuffs with real money, you can purchase booster packs, each booster pack comes with 5 random cards!
How much the booster pack cost?
Each booster pack cost $1.5 USD, you can also buy 1 random game in lotto for $0.30, its the same price per game. You can a small discount for buying more at the same time. Oh, you can also buy more dress and item for your avatar, however it will have does not affect the game, just make you feel better about yourself.
I don't even want to spent 1 penny at this game, is there any free way to get more cards?
You get 1 card (fixed, not random) everytime you level up, you get exp for winning games. You can also play a mini game (call mirage master) once a day to get some free in game money. You get like $0.10 everyday, so every 3 days you can buy 1 random card. The GM also promised some event, tournament that will give out free cards. In addition, you can also recycle the game you got (not the card you get from starter deck, you get $0 back for those) for some in game currency, a 3 out of 5 star rarity card will get you around $0.25 back.
I got a 5 star rarity card! Can I sell it on ebay for $$$$$$$$? Or give it to my friend?
Sorry, card trading or selling allow, there are no way to trade card with another player, this is done to make sure you only buy card from them, not other players on ebay. If you have some cards you don't want, well, you can use them to complete your virtual card list.... but I don't really see the point unless your a collection freak, the only thing you can do is recycle them for some money back.
