McDonalds $1 Menu victim of food costs... NOOOOO!!!
Posts
You and me both dude, you and me both.
Something about McD's cheese gives me the shits.
I hate those b/c they replaced the $1 McChicken and chicken biscuits with the inferior "southern chicken" that's the same size but now costs $2.50 each
Their Tendercrisp sandwiches are like sex on a bun.
BK trumps MickeyD's in much the way getting kidney-punched trumps getting kicked in the nads.
Their burgers rock, but their fries are like eating Satan's pubes.
I like KFC! Apparently though, they turned my favorite sandwich into a much smaller version of itself, but also made it cheaper? So now I need to buy two or three at a time. om nom nom
Dislike the potato wedges, though. I prefer fries to wedges in general.
I would say In-N-Out's fries are above average. At the very least they're fresh, like cut 5 minutes prior fresh.
A Tendercrisp with cheese and tomato is my single favorite fastfood meal.

that's because you're used to frozen, processed fries with "animal" flavoring added to 'em. At least at In-N-Out you know what you're eating... cause you can see 'em put the whole potato in the chopper thing.
Wendy's is by far a superior burger, as it just about anything out there... though I find that I ate to much BK during college, and have not had the desire to eat there for years.

As for KFC, I've had difficulty eating there ever since the one near my parents' house had to close down for a while because it was so dirty. There were literally rats falling into the deep-fryer and showing up in people's chicken buckets. They've reopened, but whenever I've been to a KFC, they seems to dirty.
Also, has there been no love for Tommy's yet?
First of all, what the fuck is an asian taco.
Second of all, I tried it just out of curiosity, and it was just a regular hamburger patty inside of a soft taco shell instead of a hamburger bun, slathered in teriyaki sauce instead of ketchup. It was revolting.
So yea, one buck food or not, I don't need to give that nastiness to my body.
None that I'm aware of... at least not on the East coast.
Granted, it costs more then your average MD burger, but they're so good.
Not on the west coast that I've seen. I live in a pretty urban environment, though, with things already built out, to there's not much room for new fast food restaurants. In fact, a Carl Jr. just closed recently and was replace by an independent cafe. I would expect any new designs to be in new restaurants, with redesigning existing ones being at the bottom of the priority list.
Especially with LA now want to ban any new fast food places from coming into South LA for one year.
As I said before, the Western Bacon Cheeseburger is the ultimate sandwich.
Yes.
One nearby where I go to school had this deal for buy one and get another free and that was my lunch so often.
A new McDs was just built by me, and it looks less like the inside of a clown, and more like the inside of a cultured clown. Chairs aren't just red plastic benches, there's more high divider walls, etc.

Yeah, they were doing that here, too (not sure where you are). I only took advantage of it once, ate one sandwich, and put the other in the fridge, microwaving it the next day. It was still good, although not as good as being "fresh." Yep, it's good eatin'.
The one in the main commercial street in my town got new, way more comfy chairs but they still use the classic McDonald's colour scheme.
I mean, I had a burger and fries from Hardee's today. But thats -all- I had. I didin't stuff my chins with a milkshake and some snickers when I got home. Or gorge myself on the schools shit lunches.

It's a college in Mesa, Arizona.
I'm a collage student living on a budget. 2 of those burgers and a small drink made a good, filling meal for a good price.
mmmm... spicy chicken sandwich, delicious.
The only things I can stand from McDonalds are some of the things on the breakfast menu and their new, more expensive chicken strips.
The closest is about 200, 300 miles, but yea that's some damn good eating.

It better be when you have to wait 25 minutes for a fucking hamburger.
I also love shopping at Wal-Mart.
So what, wanna fight about it?
Nothing rages me more than "lol I don't watch TV" elitists and "lol I don't eat fast food" elitists.
I've seen more than a few McDonalds around Melbourne, Australia going down this route. Also with a section with various cakes, cookies, salads, and other assorted cafe style items running under the McCafe branding.
