he is the best performer I think I have ever seen
"Yo, ding dong, man. Ding ding. Ding dong, man, yo!"
you don't like anything though
tonight's going to be the first time for me
so fucking stoked
I guess I don't!
or put him on my playlists
he shows these hilarious videos while he changes costumes backstage, you'll have to tell me which ones you see tonight
like i'd never put them on my mp3 player to listen to along with other songs
but as performance art it's fantastic and entertaining.
his last name doesn't have an H at the end, thread title is driving me nuts
Have a good time, man
I was driving over White Pass with my arm out the window bumping to Amish Paradise, rapping along to every word, when suddenly it hit me. Ten years and I still knew every Goddamn word off those albums.
there are a shitload of those songs where I don't know the original half as well as I do the weird al version, and I sing the parody lyrics quietly on top of the real ones whenever I hear them on the radio
"our love's in jeopardy"
"I want a new drug"
yeah
He does the best show I've ever seen, excepting maybe The Who.
God I love this one so much.
King of Pain?
Never heard them.

oh jesus I love this video tdot
No shit? I do that too. Unfortunately nowadays I don't listen to radio very often so I never get the chance. We used to get Eye of the Tiger on the radio a lot at work.
Which was, and always shall be, Rye or the Kaiser.
appearantly he rarely does the really long songs live because it is so difficult to do so

Now, watching that video and knowing what he's doing, I appreciate it more.
OH
Make sure you bring your cellphone or you might feel like a dick at the end of the show
That song is brilliant on so many levels.
Well, ok, just the two, but still.
At the end of the show he busted out a full version of it and everybody waved their cellphones. The wife and I had left ours in the car and we felt lame.
have you seen him do "fat" live? in the suit and everything? so awesome
I usually agree with this
But The Night Santa Went Crazy is my favorite yuletide song and is just a great song in general
