    You'll be able to unsee it once Gabe changes how he draws them. He's always adjusting, so I wouldn't worry about stuff like "retard teeth" staying in the comic forever.

    Yeah I do think it's nice how he mixes things up and tries new things all the time, he doesn't let himself get stuck in a rut like certain other web comic artists I could name

    Sometimes it doesn't work but that's okay, the art as a whole is always enjoyable

    What's really cool is the times when you sit back and read through the entire archives for a few weeks. You can see the whole evolution.

    But it's really not so bad when you compare it to a lot of webcomics. We're just spoiled on Gabe's current awesomeness.

    I bet he feels really good when he looks at he first PA comic and is like "wow I have gotten so much awesomer in ten years."

    I mean his art is a billion times better, he's married, he has a child (a son, no less!), and although I don't have actual numbers, I'd bet that he makes way more money. Like, I'm thinking somewhere around ten times as much. (He seemed poor as hell when this started.)

    if they're smart they are setting themselves up for the future when penny arcade no longer brings in the big bux (though PAX might)

    Honestly it seems to me like PAX is them setting up for the future.

    I could very easily see it far outliving the comic strip itself.
