Two issues of BATMAN in one month! Now that “Batman R.I.P.†has concluded, the aftermath begins! If you thought mastermind writer Grant Morrison surprised you with “R.I.P.â€, just wait until you see what he has planned for this retrospective story. In his last hours, Alfred the Butler tells the life story of the Batman as you've never seen it before in this two-part adventure which bridges the gap between the events of “Batman R.I.P.†and FINAL CRISIS. Learn the secrets of Batman's early years! Witness the nightmare of a Gotham City where Batman never existed!
Retailers please note: This issue will ship with two covers. For every 25 copies of the Standard Edition (with a cover by Alex Ross), retailers may order one copy of the Variant Edition (with a cover by Tony Daniel). Please see the Previews Order Form for more information.

Anyway, is there really a need for a new Terra? I thought she went the way of all the other One Year Later teen heroes. Like the 24! new Teen Titans that appeared out of nowhere. Personally, I'm not jumping to read new-Terra's origin story based on one appearance in Supergirl.

There were 25 on that spread and only one that was completely new hasn't been seen since (Molecule). Everyone else was either around before then or has been used afterwards

Sure, the concept of Terra isn't new either, but you're not going to tell me they are going to play a big role on the DCU. We can't expect more than one appearance every half a decade. It seems a waste a spend a mini on a one-hit-wonder while there are excellent characters largely under used.
Unless it's really good, I just can't bring myself to care.
Man, has Dr. Light II appeared in a story recently as a superhero, and not a plot device? She's always getting kidnapped, used as a power battery, or getting beaten up in the background of big fight scenes.

Don't forget Dr. Light I stealing all her powers in Green Arrow!
That's kind of a combination of the first and second.
I was specifically thinking of the thing in Green Arrow, in Booster Gold where she's kidnapped and strapped down by Max, and used to power his stuff, and when she shows up in Superman to try to re-power him with the Ray.
I thought I'd heard months ago that McDuffie wanted her on the JLA. Maybe the events in FC: Revelations will finally let her really "own" her name, and do something worthwhile.

I also really like that Batman (series) cover. And the batman FC cover
Also, did anyone else think that on the Guardian cover that the coffee mug reflection was a Futurama-esque head in a jar?

Presumably, some time before or during TRINITY #23-26.
Man, I have a few issues from that first crossover, in some box somewhere.
Mentok! The MIND TAKER!
She better pick up some speed cause she's illustrating the Palmiotti/Grey Power Girl series coming out(allegedly) in December.
Wrong!
Mandark!!
